I'm from Belgium and the throwing bottles and such. It reminds me of the fighting between catholics and protestants. and the fighting between political catholics against political socialists.

1, Tipping. if you order a wedding and you pay a lot then you assume the service is paid. done. tipping one individual is not a reference to your entire person. 2, giving to poor doesn't make them parasites. The poor is a hard group. I can't defend all of them, but the group is generally too big than it should be. And the qualities of the Rich are far more overestimated than the Poor. 3, we knew. And even with all, Bernie did not have a chance. For the world, Bernie might have had the best views. He could have changed 3rd world countries. Internationally i wouldn't take him serious. And he simply does not represent the most of the USA.
For my view of the USA: Trump represent most Americans. money focussed, egocentric, kicking to below, shouting, easy options and ignoring all facts, and no clue about the outside world. Winner takes all and give the man a badge and medal.
GOP or DEM is a harder choice. the system is bad, what can they do?
I'll be honest. I don't understand the american idea of charity is great. I find charities disrespectful. There is no obligation to tip, there is also no obligation for a groom to carry cash. He knows what he paid for the party. And i feel like an idiot defending a ceo. But alright, i more complain about you that is cherry picking stories.
Trump is not a good man. And some dollars he throws around are silly. Hillary is also very very flawed, but internationally she has more value. All the president candidates of the USA were amazing bad in European eyes. I like trump because he probably shares more of my views, he just didn't think of them yet. He is introducing social healthcare and LBGT in the GOP. Wow that are a lot of people that might be thinking of their opinions on those matters. Too bad he last-minute changed his abortions attitude. I would vote 3rd party this cycle.
and i'll be honest that the US democracy is crap. Trump and Hillary sit at the same tables, eat with the same crowd, Somewhere they are very alike.

there are no obligated wet shirt contests here. I used to host couchsurfers. it was fun. and i travel sometimes myself this way. if you aren't the standard tourist, then a free bed and stress free environment is a good starting point.
