I've just checked and apparently there are 10 stores.
The nearest one to me being in San Javier (where the airport is) which is one hour away.

So...I think I'll give it a miss. Too far for shopping.

But...he did say "I don't want to phone you"... even after suggesting that he withhold his number!!!!
That was of course a red flag!

Then in the next email...he said that he had his reasons but...."I can have good conversations" he added as if to comfort me!!

Espartame is the one you need to worry about as it is disguised under a ref no. E..

Palm oil is not banned as it is not harmful for health.
It's up to the people if they care for the rain forests or not...and the survival of orangutans ?

It´s a really sad story... whatever we do, we never seem to be able to win.

Well... he said that he had been having problems with some scammer prior to contacting me. That´s why I thought he had trust issues with me too.
In which case he´s obviously not ready to meet anyone.


As for your last comment, NO, I don´t think you have trust issues as I do exactly the same. If they want my email for some reason, saying that they´re about to leave the site or whatever... I stop contact immediately.

I was just curious to read what people had to say, that´s all.

As you say, I am also interested in meeting local people, - male or female, young and old - just out of curiosity. Sometimes you meet really interesting people, not just for a romantic relationship, but they might have something I or they need?
e.g. I offer private tuitions, dog training lessons, some translation work, workshops, sponsors for that horse etc.. Someone maybe interested? Also that book I still want to publish?


As for meeting someone who lives some distance away, I would also want to skype first.

Exactly! I started getting suspicious after a couple of email exchanges. First he asked me if I didn´t mind meeting an ex army officer??? Why the hell should I?

Then, he announced that, although he loved animals, he wouldn´t want a dog in his house. Hmmm... maybe he thought I was going to come and visit him at home with my dog???

Then... third suspicion.... when I told him he could phone anonymously, he said he could not???
Obviously, he has had problems with scammers and he thought I was maybe one?

NO, of course not, Molly! This was last friday and I really thought that he would phone me as he was very keen.
For me, it´s just a dealbreaker and there´s no more contact.

"Gluten free" and "lactose free" is now written in big letters at the front. But the rest you have to find out by reading the list of ingredients.

I agree entirely with what you´re saying regarding using your phone when you´re with someone. I usually put mine on silence.

But.... regarding phoning someone to arrange a place and a time to meet doesn´t mean you have to talk for hours on end. Beside, you also want to know if the person is real?
In this case, I don´t think it would make any difference if he lived 2 hours away!
How can you contact someone if you have a delay? Via CS PM? But you would need your phone for that!

Anyway, that guy sounds really weird and suspicious from the onset.
