The purpose of a debate is to express yourself and speak your heart out on a given topic. And you will get the opposition in your reasoning. The art of debating teaches you to prove your point, even if you get the contradiction. It tests your reasoning.
Some people say they like a “good debate”.... but... do they really?

A Forum was the main centre of a Roman city. It served as a public area in which commercial, religious, economic, political, legal, and social activities occurred and discussion, debates took place, a safety valve for the society where free speech was allowed.
Are these principles still recognised in modern society?
I listen to music every day... Different music for every mood... And also play some instruments..which gives me even more pleasure to put feelings into music and use creativity.
Unfortunately.. Instead of being a normal discussion with various opinions and points of view... The OP won't accept anything that doesn't agree with her.
I believe also in a collective consciousness and memories of past lives and any special skills learned in previous lives can be someone else's expetiences.
Also...think of morphic fields? How can you pick up something somebody else's invented..even a thought ...at the same time as someone living on the other side of the planet?
