RE: another one gone

And there's a reason for cheap and nasty - low prices. Americans and the British are more for less peoples quite like no other but even then it's not as simple as that, people here buy sometimes local if/when they can afford to and I predict in future there will be more than this in future. The abundance of stuff today is creating a generation of people like myself; post-materialists. We're not as greedy after the baby bomers and in fact the future shift may very well be less is more.

RE: another one gone

Many businesses are not just patriotic they'll try to employ from the same town/area they sell to. Smaller capitalism has a tendency to buy where it's wisest which is not necessarily the cheapest and most immediately profitable, big capitalism does this sometimes too if for example we were talking about Japanese car manufacturers. But it only takes a few to spoil it for the rest and English Capitalism(most accurately practiced by the USA today)is the least wise and the most cheap and nasty.

RE: Mao would approve of new laws in China

Trumpsters don't care if Trump lies to them because at the end of the day they love him. Pig-headed determination will see them through so long as the sun remains to shine. Trump can America more like China politically and environmentally so long as he maintains enthusiasm. But living the lie is totally normal to Orientals, I doubt many Orientals could imagine a life not based heavily on manipulation and consequently in their society you find the perfectly professional authoritarian states.

RE: Mao would approve of new laws in China

Trump would approve of new laws in China. Islam is an ignorant rabble you can be safe from by minding your own business and choosing not to be its victim. China is the real reason why the West needs to Fash Up, that's the organised terror threat.

RE: Is China behind farming hate for Japan with North and South Korea?

America would have been brought to her knees long ago if Japan had a surplus billion of people. it doesn't matter if they're Chinese or Japanese or Korean - they're all the same advanced race of extraterrestrial insects which fights as a colony. You can't win against that unless you're prepared to fight the same way and we're only prepared to do that when there's a war on.

RE: Who is next?

Not for a long time. In no way are politics and acting reflective of men in general, these trades are not honest work they're attractive to narcissistic sociopaths and the power mad. Ordinary people would do well to be suspicious of anyone even interested in politics.

RE: WHAT NEXT!!!!!

It's common sense. I'd like to believe that no responsible proprietor would allow a great dane to crash around his fancy establishment. The only worrying thing about leaving this matter to the discretion of individuals is we're talking about the Irish.

RE: Should Children Work?

Personally I liked the jobs I got myself as a boy, I was cleaning wheelie bins when I was 8. But I didn't enjoy all those summer weeks working in mum's sandwich shop or every weekend passing tools to my dad all year round.

RE: Should Children Work?

Ideally parents would have the time and money to put the kids first and not take them along to work.

Start a trade war with China and accept no economic growth for several years. Anything less than this is futile. Sharking North Korea and playing friends with China simply doesn't work.

RE: DISAPPEARING THE WEALTH

This is the correct response to the Great Recession just as the 1950s was the correct response to the Great Depression. Capitalism has to reconfigure/reset the way it works or it stagnates in a monopoly, no change in capitalism will destroy capitalism. But it's like the 1930s, we have to deal with fascists and has-beens before we arrive at any solutions to our problems and it's purely a matter of attitude. A few people in the 1930s predicted how the 1950s was going to work - and they were right - but you can't win an argument just by being right particularly when politics is as emotional today as it was in the 1930s.

RE: DISAPPEARING THE WEALTH

Which isn't to say we'll necessarily turn commie. Important things have changed over the last century in the way money is created and I don't believe capitalism has any idea what to do. They don't know what to do about patent law and the internet and data etc, most money today is created by already having money or it is socially created. it doesn't much come from wages and active participation in the supply side of the economy, the economy chiefly uses you as an investor and as a consumer. Labour(be it professional, skilled or casual)is an ever-diminishing share of the pie.

Anyway, the main welfare policy should be UBI - minimum income for everyone - and you should get paid everytime you search google and for the content you put on Facebook and Instagram. Big capitalism makes trillions off your personal information - and for many people this is all you'll be good for - and society will collapse unless these profits are shared.

RE: DISAPPEARING THE WEALTH

Fundamentally Fascism is a crisis of progress. In reality there's plenty to go around but it's just not going around - the rich don't want you to understand that. In the eyes of the money men mankind doesn't deserve the quality of life which modern science makes possible and they employ a variety of tricks to cheat you out of your own inheritance. The working classes of the world are denied their heritage by the power of usury.

In reality the 1950s with all its consumer comforts and quality of life could have happened in 1933. The material and technical ability was there to create those conditions. But it took a war to destroy big capitalism and reset business back into its pioneer stage where people once again had equal opportunities and a whole new world of possibilities. The material ability was there in 1933, what wasn't there was the will. It is the will and the will alone which is needed - in everything.

RE: Harry Hewitt and Meghan Markle

It's nerd versus jock. Nerd versus jock explains the position we are in today although monarchy is itself anything but nerd versus jock. it's upper class to believe that punching people and writing books are equally important and the upper class like to rule over the lower class divisions between punching people and writing books.

RE: Why are some unlucky in love.

Luck is purely a matter of chance, there's no reason although we often say unlucky in love when we mean carcrash of a person.

RE: Investing

Yet something like this would drive Trump growth down by 1% for several years only to double growth in ten years time. This might actually get somewhere on the way to Make America Great Again - which in reality stands against everything you believe in. Trump promised effortless prosperity in a get-rich-quick scheme, but someone needs to step in and demand the $5 tomorrow and not the $1 today. One more round of plundering the moment from old people could in a very serious way finish the West off

RE: Investing

If you sell your kids to China to avoid paying down your own debt, and your kids rebel, then China kills you Grandad. Think on. If we reverse the historic low-taxation of the baby boomers we can spend boomer money far more wisely than they ever will, it is essential to do this. We must translate boomer spending on foreign cruises and property speculation into a functioning infrastructure without coming under the yoke of Chinese tyranny.
