RE: Jim acosta - guilty or not guilty of putting his hands on a woman

No self-respecting person would say guilty because he didn't touch her. This is desperate to the point of twisted one even for you, a real reacher.

RE: What do you say when someone you’re dating says, “I love you” but you’re not there yet?

"thanks a lot"

RE: Lest we forget........".In Flanders Field" By John MCCrae

If I were fierce, and bald, and short of breath
I'd live with scarlet Majors at the Base,
And speed glum heroes up the line to death.
You'd see me with my puffy petulant face,
Guzzling and gulping in the best hotel,
Reading the Roll of Honour. "Poor young chap,"
I'd say — "I used to know his father well;
Yes, we've lost heavily in this last scrap."
And when the war is done and youth stone dead,
I'd toddle safely home and die — in bed.

RE: Spice Girls'' and West life''

Both extremely popular in the golden years of my childhood and I still feel absolutely nothing. I'd be happier with a tyre on a rope, and you definitely would.

RE: How do you like to end a fight with your partner?

8 minutes shut in the bathroom calms any woman down to that perfect level of simmering emotion. Or not. Whatever happens when you open the door won't be boring.

RE: What type of childhood did you have?

The unintended consequence of the Great Recession, Trump and Brexit is kids learning to count and bothering to vote. The kids didn't ask to fight against any of these things nevertheless the fight is for their own good.

Essentially withTrump making a moron look terrible and without easy money we can end cool to be thick. That 50 year old avoidance of decency, thought and long words which first gave birth to cocaine-induced greed is good in the 1980s, and then the selfish moral blank of a nationalist president who fails to turn up for Remembrance Sunday.

RE: What type of childhood did you have?

And before considering myself a wild optimist one must remember that the greatest generation came from broken homes. There was a reasonable chance that at least one of your parents starved to death or died in battle but the greatest generation were not a disgrace. To have the worst start in life is not necessarily, or even very often, a bad thing for civilisation.

RE: What type of childhood did you have?

The end of club 18-30 represents the turning of the tide. Club 18-30 began in 1970 when the oldest boomer was 25, it was the true beginning of our infantilised society and it’s subsequent decline.

The aim now is to build on this. The infantilised world is banal, old-fashioned and uncool and our future is to be like absolutely fabulous, by rebelling against and refusing to be like the older generation you become the higher quality person and better citizen.

RE: What type of childhood did you have?

What strikes me about the children of broken homes is how unlike Kevin and Perry they are.

And on a similar note Club 18-30 has just closed down for business. If you look past the decadence and silliness of Trump and the old people there are subtle signs of the west getting its act together.

RE: What type of childhood did you have?

I personally believe that through baby boomers, broken homes and the Great Recession there is in development a new man of the west. The neo-sensible.

RE: The most attractive colour skin in the world

The love of my life was an albino, but we watched the sunrise together and she went up like a vampire. I only date tanned women now.

RE: Are women over 40 really having a hard time finding a partner on dating site?

Throughout life woman is slowly losing the advantage of looking better than he does. Old people all look basically the same. And this might be difficult when it meets that second wind some men hit around 40.

RE: Why do people change

Social media isn’t social, reality tv isn’t real people behave differently when there’s an audience whether the audience is real or imaginary.

The truth could be that no one looks at a word you write but everything people do is done for big other. What should be a conversation goes via a public display of self-promotion and soon enough nobody pays attention to anybody apart from the audience to the point they start believing in actual Big Brother. The narcissism makes meaningful conversation redundant there’s too much self being promoted and back being watched.

RE: Why do people change

It’s not a relatable means of getting to know people so I don’t think other people really matter online. We wouldn’t normally have a conversation on-stage with lots of people watching and I certainly don’t want that to become my idea of socialising.

RE: Would some of you be happier if you could have had Hillary for President?

Property is where the economic problem reveals itself.

The Thatcherites maintain that low wages equal low prices of consumer goods and so all things balance out in the end. They’re wrong to believe this and scandalously wrong if they believe in Thatchers property-owning democracy at the same time. Property prices go off into another league which the majority of people who work can’t really afford, third world wages and conditions translate into third world prices to some extent, but the property is a different story.

Property becomes owned by a class of people who dont really do anything, a non-productive capitalism society could fire out of the airlock and reach the stars.

RE: Would some of you be happier if you could have had Hillary for President?

What I want is somebody socialistic because my opinion is that we’ve reached a peak in zero hour contracts, Grendel towers and crowdfunding millionaires to become billionaires. We’ve reached an all-time low in the workers share of the overall pie and because none of the productivity gains over the last 40 years have gone to the workforce we arrive at a situation where taking on debt is the only way to consume the fruits of your own labour. Bankers extend us credit to buy the things that belonged to us the whole time.

RE: Would some of you be happier if you could have had Hillary for President?

Don’t know. There’s business as usual - the same old men with the same dead ways aiming at another 40 years of global Thatcherism by which time the west would be a primitive and backward place. I hate that America spends ten times as much on pet grooming as it does on researching nuclear fusion. I don’t respect the mainstream.

However, the reactionaries bring is no closer to cracking nuclear fusion in fact they may set us even further back and then there’s the demon unleashed and the hostility in daily life which wasn’t there 5 years ago. The anti-socialists are making society anti-social and all the apocalypse fantasises they have convince me that they’re dangerous people beyond the point of caring, people who dont give a damn if they live or die and would savage all that we know and care for in exchange for a moment of significance. A force of the least moral, the least witty, the least secure, the least personable and the least intelligent living vicariously through a man god is a tragedy waiting to happen.

RE: Wht i’m looking for

Women think things they don’t say and make you do things you don’t want. Women don’t behave like a chess computer.

In addition to that reassuring a woman is self-defeating when there’s nothing to be reassured about. I believe you when you say you don’t do or want cheating but where’s the horde of fems breaking down your door? Reassure the woman when there’s another woman drooling over you.

RE: Background importance in relationships...

It depends how old they are. The older you get the more your background reflects the choices you have made. If your background is corporate law or used car lettings this will go against you.

RE: BREAKING: Voter Fraud

We could have predicted this thread way before the midterms. But a word of advice is to get you story straight first like a group of convicts would when questioned by police, when you all have a different “get out”or a different version of “get out” you’re liable to start losing trials and elections.

RE: DOJ and DHS Issue New Asylum Rule

If you never admit that you’re wrong then you provoke two different responses from people.

One will buy into the confidence of asserting insane belief as fact and the intelligent will know you can’t be right all the time which brings doubt into everything you say. Watching pizzagate and the response to the pipe bomber discredits anything you might be right about, and if you win on those tactics the result is a brain drain where you’re driving away the people who could make America great again.

RE: Can you love your friends

A friendzone isn't a friendship because the entire basis of the relationship is that you fancy her. If you didn't fancy her you wouldnt' want to know her and she uses that fact to conduct a one-sided relationship which revoles around her entirely. That's what the friendzone is. Neither of you likes the other as a person although you both pretend to do.

RE: Does age affect your dating prospects?

Weary or mellow age amounts to a loss of enthusiasm. If you're not suspicious and/or rather bored with it the chance is they are.

RE: Are you a romantic

Too much. I've narrowly avoided a forehead like Gordon Ramsay.

RE: Pursuit of Happiness

To be honest I don't believe happiness will be normal until western society hits rock bottom. The breakdown of respect and punctuation, depression without the tragic circumstances, the love of bad boys and Donald Trump and imo reflect the comfortable person's need for nasty, the emasculation and boredom of being wealthy, and the first world invention of sorrow. The super ego torments itself in lieu of real problems - it's to counter decadence(to keep feet on the ground). The pursuit of happiness is a sorry affair, the generation said to have never had it so good is the most depressed, the boredom of being spoilt goes out of it way to make the world unpleasant.

RE: Pursuit of Happiness

RE: Jungian Archetypes and the Dating scene

My brother is one of these men who never does as well with women as he should do on paper - he flew over to America in November 2016 to cheer Trump on - and he makes out as though he wants a beautiful with woman low self-esteem and no rights but in reality what I think he wants is a woman like Donald Trump. Because such a woman would be like my dad - a charismatic tyrant dad. The belief is in taking charge - it's to emulate dad - but the overhelming need is to be kept on ones toes and this hates the driving seat.

RE: Any news from the caravan?

Like a Buddhist there are liberals who would stand there and do nothing as though the caravan was the invading Chinese army, but being invaded by the Chinese army would be an invasion. What if you're bored beyond despair and just have to make everything more dramatic than it really is?
