RE: whether you ask too much conditions when you looking for love

Suffice is to say that humanity inflates itself in the same way because the promotion is always based upon a comparison.

And for this reason there's more diversity between the primitive. There's more difference between one village in the north of England and another in the south than there is between London, Paris, New York and all of the world-cities combined.

RE: whether you ask too much conditions when you looking for love

I understand why the middle classes choose to find that quirky little bistro not mentioned in any guide book even if that bistro does offer relatively poor service and value for money. I see this as an example of a choice trying desperately hard not to be one. It's grimly predictable in a way that the middle class do this and i like to think of these decisions as alt-choices; the attempt to make a choice nobody else has made in a quest for authenticity and self-determination.

RE: whether you ask too much conditions when you looking for love

Bemoaning the loss of variables and chance encounters in this world that's as stage-managed as it is. At one time there was a chance that something would happen by chance and this is different to the grim predictability of choice. Knowing exactly who will be where and when is a step away from knowing how and why. The mysteriousness of the other and the unpredictability of life fall away in the age of information.

RE: whether you ask too much conditions when you looking for love

In the modern world humanity itself increasingly mimics the behaviour of a product or service. T&Cs apply.

RE: whether you ask too much conditions when you looking for love

Stems from American culture but I find the way many people behave painfully intentional. Choice culture leaving no room for surprises or originality because it's so put together. To demand and be in demand, to promote or be promoted.. How much freedom does an advert and its consumer have?

RE: Wannabe romance stuff

What you need is a big box of chocolates you'll feel less disappointed tomorrow.

RE: Who / What enlightens Your Life?

The land. I look at counties like Shropshire and Cheshire and agree that Jerusalem can be built in this green and pleasant.

And in civilisation it's architecture and music. There are buildings and songs that make one feel completely insignificant - in a good way.

RE: How many have gone bonkers from unrequited love?

It’s been said that all’s fair in love as war.

And yet nuclear war, chemicals weapons, the killing of defenceless prisoners or to bully or mistreat them in any way are not fair. Convictions of honour and good sense govern the theatre of conflict.

And yet romance has no such conviction. Atrocity today will be found mostly in a familiar or domestic setting. Personal auschwitz.

RE: How many have gone bonkers from unrequited love?

If I love you, what business is it of yours?

~ Goethe

I take that as a centuries old warning against friendzones. The exploitation of unrequited love is the most abject pain.

RE: How many have gone bonkers from unrequited love?

“The absence of love is the most abject pain”

~ Nosferatu

RE: How many women can you handle at a time?

To be honest I struggle to feel outraged or tremendously excited about the idea. Normally the idea is to keep apart the women you’re sleeping women with. If I had to put a number on it 3

RE: The Night...

Problem solved. Globalisation makes night and day basically irrelevant as humanity congeals into one corporate earth time. It’s one of the more obviously de-soulling things about it. Everybody is New York now.

RE: Whats your take on women who are comfortable being a home maker?

It means I’m selling the dishwasher

And the washing machine. What good are traditional values without traditional methods from the past.. what does her indoors do all day in a household of mod cons? Have a go at the dusting half an hour before I get in from work?

Vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, washing machine, frozen foods and disposable nappies - they all go. In my house the homemaker would have to do something she’s not done since before the 1960s - work.

RE: Who owns the European Union?

I find the there’s something in shows like the Simpsons and South Park where basically the kids are surrounded stupid adults. The product of more time in an infantilised world is not maturity the election of Donald Trump shows that age is just a number. To take the amateurish attitude of the young and combine it with the weariness and cynicism of the old and you’ve more or less made the modern west.

RE: Who owns the European Union?

My theory is that the children of prosperity love drama too much to maintain civilisation and that’s why civilisation never lasts. For example Arming teachers is entertainment for the adults in society. Dad grew up on Rambo.

RE: Who owns the European Union?

In lieu of war the masses turn to self-mutilation as a means to create scars and invent burdens in a society of convenience.

In a sense America loves guns because it’s really fat, every cheeseburger that dips the level of testosterone equates to another bullet in the gun. Prosperity breeds monsters and in the midst of first world problems expect the return of child soldiers and paladins. Eventually America will soon see small children and priests armed with assault rifles, and yet never in the history of America has the American been likely to live longer or safer.

RE: Who owns the European Union?

The less horrible amongst the bosses but it depends who you are. The richest 20% lose to the benefit of the 80% but there’s something unusual about doing this. The masses naturally conduct a popularity contest where most of them lose the 80% will feed itself to the 20%. It’s only because so many Europeans shared trenches together that they genuinely believed in egalitarianism for a bit. When new generations arise that fought no wars - and certainly not any war anyone could consider a fair fight - things will default on capitalism. That’s the Eu now.

RE: The Biological Relationship of Genius and Madness ...

You have to remember that the best thing for your mental health is a good nights sleep. And what is sleep? It’s not just your intelligence switching off its you disengaging from the mad world and everything in it.

RE: The Biological Relationship of Genius and Madness ...

And this is why the best social welfare policy is a primitive existence because all the therapy in the world will not reverse the unhinging effects of advance.

RE: The Biological Relationship of Genius and Madness ...

The product of intelligence itself seems to be less than sane. Nuclear weapons, hyperinflation, and the urban environment are all products of genius which set the tone of adapt or die for everyone. The speed and motion of development is so fast that at most a vanishingly small segment of the public has at best a vague understanding of what the world is.

RE: The Biological Relationship of Genius and Madness ...

The more you know the less you understand and in that sense knowing is destabilising. Shine a torch and the light will be surrounded by darkness, shine a bigger brighter torch and that beam is surrounded by even more darkness. The more society knows in a book the more senseless it will become in general.

RE: Social media and employers

You have to question whether you can have a good relationship with someone who spies on you. Factories that watch workers like a hawk get left with the scumbags.

RE: Social media and employers

A bit of a snoop early on is fair enough maybe. I expect most of them do that. The rest is just disrespect.

RE: The Biological Relationship of Genius and Madness ...

Eveybody knows the mad genius is a thing especially the talentless, misguided dickheads. It's a culture thing. Einstein believed that knowledge allows a greater diversity of ignorance you've expanded the horizons of the bizarre. Perhaps the intelligence of the modern world affords you to be a certain mad way.
