RE: Is Hypnotism a Fake?

The answer to the question is a question. By what amount are you a mystery to yourself?

RE: Is Hypnotism a Fake?

Being honest with yourself makes it a fake. The suggestibility is based on not knowing or accepting what your true intentions are in general. The placebo effect emerges from self-unawareness.

RE: Look at Me.

Apart from what you say you are there's less to go on online - one reason it's good for scamming. And if a picture is worth a thousand words then it is worth a million internet words. Looks is one exaggerated by the tunnel vision take on a person you get online. The aura, the presence and behaving in the moment.. all the things lacking online make a nice photo even more important.

RE: Bannon on the Rise of China.

RE: Diets and You.

I eat whatever I want and that happens to be not a lot. Food is a resource to be consumed, I still have the same basic "eat it, it's good for you" attitude to food as I did when I was 7. Let's get this over with so we can get back out there. I'm not wired to think about food much, and the last thing food does is bring comfort to me. Stress causes me to eat less which is just as well in today's society. Through the magical combination of think about something else with go out & play I have the body of an adonis.

RE: Wife in UAE seeks divorce because (....)!

And the bigger the system the weaker the rules because of big society's move towards Simon Cowell/Julius Caeser, the superalpha running the whole show at the expense of all lesser alphas. Rules become yet weaker still if these rules are made in Brussels, brexiteers don't have the nation's education, but they do have its cajones. Leave/Remain is something of an alpha/beta litmus test. Civilisation and particularly globalisation alienate the great majority of those who, in a state of nature, would have been clan leaders.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

One thing to remember is that our ancestors always were and forever will be awed by and disgusted with us. So much of our development was being invested in Toys R Us and bringing in the third world that the sciences didn't add up to much, but now I think they are and as we wake from the slumber of the last 3 or 4 decades. The 21st century is about to begin.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tell you they're only having two kids to fight climate change they're lying to you. This is what they would be doing anyway with their selfish individualistic lives.

But two is enough is a good principle unless we are prepared to go back to the dirt of the commons. Capitalism makes affluence and affluence forgets how to breed, forgets what a man and a woman is.. but is that the end? I contend that this is not the end and not even inviting Islam into the same space can stop the indomitable will of progress. Our forces are greater than their forces.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

Any and all of the above is more likely to occur than mass white suicide for historic sins. Industry is damaging the biosphere and the liberal solution is to kill the best stewards of industry because we invented the industry, it doesn’t matter that the rest of the world is actually much worse for the Earth than we are today.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

Alternatively we reach the stars. Conquering the galaxy would lift us from the velocity of convenient decay into the mission of the future.

A planet for Asians, a planet for whites, a planet for diversity, a planet where technology is banned, a planet of genetic engineering and telepathic powers. A planet for atheists, a planet for the Eloi, a planet where money doesn’t exist, a capitalist world and a planet run by the flippin’ pope.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

And Islam is important because it’s the only large scale force of tradition left in the world. The one alternative to the way the world works(which is why some on the left like Islam even though they shouldn’t). Islam is extremely conservative but it is also the most different to global liberal capitalism and I think that’s why they like it. For the novelty. Our own conservatives are not radically different in the same way Islam is but if Islam can no longer instill fast-breeding into its own public, then Donald Trump definitely can’t. Trump is about as conservative as he is postmodern.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

Even the Muslim population is only growing where it’s sheltered under the white welfare state. The Muslim world itself is waning in its ability to keep her barefoot and pregnant.

Forced industrialisation, the global population bomb and the related life of ease in the western world have, to a large extent, been and gone.

For a generation or so in the west life will get harder - to pay off debts and redress the balance of how easy it was before. Nevertheless the overall trajectory is towards Eloi. Millennials in the west have to live down from now on, but our children will not.

RE: The End of the World as We know it.

I could see the above happening before AI takes over the role of breeding. When the population drops to 1 billion and they’re fearing a further decline to 500 million the exo womb will come into play. Women no longer bear children, the industry does.

RE: When will the Next Recession Hit?

The last recession didn't really end as such. The workplace became more like a Japanese POW camp, encouraging the aimless thrill in consumer spending to sustain the rat race is something they fudge. Who pays for the faux middle class? Nobody and everybody. We're going to lend you the difference between what you're worth and the greater amount we apparently need you to spend, and yet somehow turn a profit.

RE: DON’T Let Women Tell You How to be a Man!

The problem for many men is that if we don’t speak the language of subtlety a woman’s world will look like censorship. It’ll seem you like can’t say or do anything around women these days if you’re awkwardly fumbling around.

And that’s the problem. Free speech and the absence of graces and censorship kill the arts rendering the average man mildly autistic at a time when she can sleep with whoever she chooses. Art belongs to the repressed up and coming who challenge the way society is. If you listen to women they don’t espouse love for the king, it’s the man of ambition they love because the man of ambition earns his power.

RE: DON’T Let Women Tell You How to be a Man!

Far from telling me how to behave, I doubt the woman would even interrupt my mistakes - she'll say "it's fine" when it isn't. And why? Because she wants me to behave not as I am expected to behave but how I want to behave, but she expects what I want to suit what she wants by happy coincidence. It's being yourself, but in the way she always wanted.

If you're a nice guy be yourself means try less hard to impress me, stop worrying about what I think, and if you're a rogue it means open up to me and be authentic, I'm tired of this scandalous repertoire. The cricitism is subtle for a reason - she loves a man who knows what he wants, who believes in himself but a man who is not completely one-dimensional and blind to the arts.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

We're decades away from living off robots although that'll be to the 21st century what baby boomers were to the 20th. One way or another the west will retreat into something more conservative before the next wave of liberalism and leisure.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

It's the strong independent woman.. in a creche. What the west starts to look like with less public sector and profit in the make-up and pet grooming industries, fewer benefits etc could be something completely different. What people are like now could be nothing more than a blip.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

And it's far from exclusively female. The high rate of unearned options in life is not a million miles away from a woman's prerogative, but it's not a million miles away from being born into the middle class neither. In a way money is its own destroyer.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

A high rate of unearned options in life does not itself make a Marxist but it is that more than middle class in your expectation, less than this in your contribution. How long the period of unearned options last before it defaults on tyranny depends on the greatness of your ancestors. If they worked all their lives and hardly ever lived it up there'll be ample time for you to career like a decadent ponce before living down.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

Everyone can be middle class until all inheritance and good faith are exhausted. Stalin or Islam takesover the role, the bankrupted chaos is compelled to function by some crude mechanism.

RE: My opinion of women: a marxist feminist perspective.

Women can do any mad thing they want because everybody can be middle class and god knows who's paying for it.
