RE: Is Social Media Ruining our Ability to Focus longer than 15 seconds?

Getting lost in the desert for 40 days and nights is more or less the same result. Assuming you don't get killed and eaten by a lion. Focus is the reason for fasting.

RE: Is Social Media Ruining our Ability to Focus longer than 15 seconds?

Calm is nothing more than the product of thousands upon thousands of hours in a boredom without equal. The problem with the society of fun is that it's plastic and weak, kind of like a toy.

RE: Let's Criticise China's Cuisine....

The black death was them, too. Probably better not take diet tips from the insect races there are consequences to their unnatural and ignoble dehumanising ways.

RE: Is the greatest power ''goodbye''?

I suppose yYou don't know what you've got until it's gone. Someone once asked me if life would have twice the value if it was usual to be dead by 40? And I think yes it probably would.

RE: USA threatens to cut Canada off over Huawei 5G networks

Could you imagine Simon Cowell working with another Simon Cowell?

Nationalism has the same basic problem. Each and every nationalism is too sure of itself to cooperate with the next. Nationalism does not scale well.

RE: USA threatens to cut Canada off over Huawei 5G networks

The problem with America First is convincing all your allies to put themselves second. Once you've openly declared that you are that self-serving it is difficult to find a partner.

RE: Parental rights?

I suppose it’s a bit like parents who stop their children going to school or let them hang around with grooming gangs. If the parents don’t care does this mean that we don’t too? Of course not.

RE: Parental rights?

Especially in this country. There aren’t many people who refuse medicine on the grounds that they believe in a Jewish or other conspiracy controlling everything. They wouldn’t deny the kids medical treatment out of any peculiar vision or forethought, but because of negligence.

RE: Who is in the wrong?

Either way climate change will make it even less likely to find roomy seats on a plane. What we really need are the manners of an oriental the etiquette of another race that has so much more history living like a sardine than we have.

Unless planes go the same way as the Cinema because you don’t need to be there to get the same result. Technology stops people travelling for some reason.

RE: Who is in the wrong?

He shouldn’t react like that to a spoilt madam entitled to crush your legs and knock your drink over. I think running her off the road down a dark country lane would be a better lesson in manners.

RE: KARMA

Life’s not fair but on the other hand we are built to put 2 with 2 and come out with 5. That’s basically what religion is. A placebo like giving being its own reward.

RE: What is feminism?

And sometimes the reverse. Men laughing at everything a pretty woman says has her shave all her hair off. It is a perverse reaction to receiving a lot of attention based upon lies.

RE: What is feminism?

In my generation feminism is the license to do any mad thing you want like the pretty girls can. No consequences.

RE: Should Paternity Tests…be mandatory?

They should be standard considering the technology is there now. In a few years there’ll be an app that tells you who the real father is.

RE: I have money, you have beauty - it's a deal.

Women use their looks primarily to extract better company than themselves. Everybody prefers the company of men because we're not as much to look at, the ideal is to teach them what they taught us.

RE: I have money, you have beauty - it's a deal.

Beauty matters right away but women don't necessarily like the type of boring that normally has money - at least not before the marriage.

RE: Aspire. Be Somebody.

All is not lost however because of all the jumping off the roof and filming it and waking up with your leg in the canal. For all the cheating death modernity does there is at least a caricature of living dangerously. Live slow, die old and the aging populaton can only mean one thing yet humanity protests itself by spinning donuts out in ASDA car park. On some level it does not want the guarantee of growing so ridiculously old.

RE: Aspire. Be Somebody.

What was once a heroism would in today's much more middle class society be reckless indifference towards your own future.

RE: Aspire. Be Somebody.

Or go the other way and think little of yourself. If a terrorist sets himself on fire and runs towards an airport terminal it takes a prole to stop him. It takes a prole to punch a flaming man to the ground. Why? Because those who see themselves as little have less to lose. The status classes are typified by people who won't take personal risk.

RE: Have you ever...

I've been pro-British since the days it was difficult to be a nationalist. I've always expected to be opposed and opposed most of all by the women although the truth is i'm not really a nationalist, I believe in what will be so I best get thinking of 2036.

RE: Black out

There is an alcoholic licence to behave foolishly if not so much viciously. If you were to stumble home and wet the bed you'd suffer for that, but the relationship wouldn't be over.

RE: Do men want to be hunted, wooed, serenaded...?

It remains to be seen if social progress and all the money in the world can replace the self-made man and the woman's god-given right. When women approach men as a rule this will be man's ultimate victory over nature.

RE: Do men want to be hunted, wooed, serenaded...?

It depends on our upbringing. It would be one thing for an Italian builder to woo the woman and another for the son of a millionaire. If the self-made man doesn't exist there's not as much difference between men and women, everybody becomes more single as society develops.

RE: Depression

Balance.

Depression isn't always a bad thing it could be nature's way of telling you this isn't right. You could eat/drink/spend/pollute too much and the mildly depressed state of mind makes you frugal to save you from your own excesses. Considering the depressing circumstances it could be that the social norm is a type of mania.

RE: How Much Do You Spend per WEEK?

£50 and £3.50. I consider myself part of that millennial quarter that imposes austerity on daily life, but can pay for a car in cash without recourse to a loan. Call us the Jewish quarter.
