RE: OPTIMISM Vs PESSIMISM - Or the other way round?

I say English when I’d attribute the whole British Isles with a superhuman need to take the piss. Things always likely to become a bit too real, but in a silly way.

RE: OPTIMISM Vs PESSIMISM - Or the other way round?

Everything is more heroic when you’re doomed, the English are never happier than when we are doomed it’s one reason taking the piss is a national pastime in this country like no other. We like the challenge of pessimism where optimism is cowardice. The American way of doing things - confidence-boosting lies and unbelievable flattery to create a fodder of positivite energy - would give us diabetes.

RE: Brexit will it ever happen

Yes, I would argue the best "soft" Brexit would come from having our own version of Tony Blair.

Any hard Brexit would be so chaotic that it will require authoritarian leaders, a drastic revision to parliament and emergency powers to the state. To some extent it would be like there's a war on. Who knows maybe a figure like Churchill would arise but if it does the important thing is that when he's done his job, he goes.

RE: Brexit will it ever happen

Or even a Brexit Blair. A relatively charming centrist figure in the Brexit who really believes in what he believes. Give that to Blair he does believe in what he believes it's one reason he's so dangerous.

RE: Brexit will it ever happen

Many or most Brexit voters are economically leftist and will go back to tradition in an election. The North will still vote Labour in the whole.

If you're thinking revenge what's just happened in New Zealand is more the language. That's what would come from a cancelled Brexit for hard Brexit to happen we'd need our own Putin; a supreme leader to override parliament and the law in the name of the people. A man with a plan becuase that's the point - Brexit has no organisation, no effort, no plan it has absolutely nothing everyone who was involved with any ability abandoned ship as soon as Leave won. Between grandad, chav and the white van driver was this mumbo jumbo ever going to fly? It needs at least one person to understand the world as it is and that will be the Putin.

RE: Do you prefer to know where you stand with someone?

I don't really want to spend my time alone with a serial backstabber, but they make up the numbers. The more the merrier.

RE: why do so many people need a illegal or legal drug to function or get high 2019?

There's more ambition than there is opportunity in the world and more suffering than there is hope. Party drugs are there to make your mark and the sedatives make you feel like you're not really there. One is fantasy, the other escape.

RE: Trust - does it increase / decrease with Time?

She's more of the diplomatic poker-face than you are and to be honest I'd really appreciate it if you opened up a bit less.

RE: Negativity - Do we need it?

We need to deal with it. The downsides won't take care of themselves even in a totalitarian society the leader will know that everything is not positivity and perfection in contrast to the propaganda of the regime. Force, morale, willpower and Cher are an axis of powers where we have reason and things as they really are. There's more of a burden in free society it includes doubt and being able to question things - i.e. negativity.

RE: DEBATES And Their Purpose...

The nicest possible way to challenge anything. Having a say is how free society legitimises authority but I think a no questions asked society is more likely now, Michael Jackson doing that so obviously in front of everybody the writing is on the wall for liberal democracy. The enlightenment was kidding itself, you can't fire a man who's doing a good job.

RE: Trust - does it increase / decrease with Time?

Envy seems to have no influence over me but being intelligent does. Nothing works without trust even American capitalism which rests upon the lowest opinion of the human species would not work if everything was to be conducted at gunpoint.

RE: Who are easier to influence?

Men in the short-term and women in the longterm. It would be easier to get a man killed on my orders than it would be a woman, if someone jumped off a cliff would you follow them? Yes is his answer to that. From a jihad get them to die for you point of view men are easier to influence, there's a muppet-like quality to men in their being so transparent and one-dimensional.

Getting to do the little things that make up life on your orders is woman. The subtle influence woman never forgets won't so much die for you as live for your sake.

RE: Your Soul - Do you feed it?

Spirituality is not instant gratification and it is not the money energy that flowed towards you particularly after your parents died. Spirituality is not a full stomach it is an empty stomach it's why artists choose to starve.

RE: Your Soul - Do you feed it?

Anti-something is not nothing and anti-experience is not the absence of experience.

I consider it vital to divorce convenience culture from spirituality. Spirituality isn't having so much stuff you no longer appreciate it and it isn't the lack of gritty experience that has you believe you're an angel. Anti-experience counters the test that life can be, it's not the same as simply going untested.

RE: Your Soul - Do you feed it?

You feed it heaven and hell - awe and anguish you could not put into words. Rejecting the idea that the soul has anything to do with compliments and white picket fences, in my view life is a marathon and the soul is your endurance a bit like hitting the "wall" as a runner creates the sense you're not really there. It's the anti-experience that comes from the experience being too much in some way. In my view you're born a lesser but aspiring soul that grows and dies with you, it's alive in you. It's not a soul born whole where your aim is to preserve that integrity and purity, on the contrary it's reaching up from the school of hard knocks more like a promise than a preservation.

RE: I feel like I am dying of depression

Have you tidied your room yet?

RE: Relationships - do most women really ever, know what they want?

Get yourself arrested at least once in your life. Any situation where everything’s against you and you have nothing but your mouth is like dating a woman, love is a lot easier when you think of it like the law.

RE: Relationships - do most women really ever, know what they want?

Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean you don’t understand.

The psychopath. Insight with indifference, emotional intelligence with shallowness, glib charm and the sense of going from moment to moment in a never ending story as opposed to the more stable and conscientious approach to life.

RE: Love, Kindness, Forgiveness for All.

Buddhism is one of the more high-functioning sociopathy inducing trances we’ve employed to face oblivion.

RE: Then I wish happiness you with Azrael

In 1986

Testosterone declines with age based on the understanding he’s already made his decisions. The ways you’ve set in are to avoid making any more decisions.

RE: Which Female UK singer from the past or present has the best voice?

Kate Bush. First woman to reach #1 with a song she wrote. She has her own voice in the fullest sense which is incredibly rare in a woman.

RE: Relationships - do most women really ever, know what they want?

You're supposed to know without having to ask, what a woman wants is to go round the houses in a process of elimination. All the doors are open for the purpose of being closed.

RE: Why do people try to discredit others - knowing it's made up - stirring trouble?

There are Church groups and women's refuges to stress that everyone must be kind to you. And they'll love anyone no matter how wretched and undeserving of that love they may be.

RE: Nikki Haley for President of the USA 2020

Conservatism is a philosophy based on conservation. The roots of preservation it's not going to fly off anywhere particularly when it's been burned before. Security with tradition and banality you should distinguish that from the pure self-preservation of the more intelligent right. Die for America or kill America to save its own skin - the right will have both.

RE: America’s Second Vietnam... what are we fighting for today in Afghanistan?

Communism is crash course modernisation you may one day be able to work with. The middle east is a different epoch, wars of reformation where if we involves ourselves the medieval wins. The mistake was the effort to crush communism, we should have quarantined the place either their own communism or reformation would be preferable to what it is now.

RE: Bohr vs Bohm

I believe Bohr represents today's orthodoxy because of how we live. We do foolishly believe in the end of history and when you order something off ebay the parcel just arrives, you've not in reality summoned that parcel into existence but it feels more like you have. It's the new age of spiders webs and magic.
