RE: So, you're all very quiet following

But all this talk of soul-weariness and depression is a boon to philosophy and classical music. There's a striking absence of dumb joy and delusion amongst the Russians regardless of living inside an authoritarian state. There's an important diference between being brainwashed and lacking the willpower or initiative to translate your thoughts into actions and needing a strongman to act on your behalf.

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

Anyway, I contend that the real achievements Soviet Russia made in space and against the Germans are the only time Russia warmed inside. Achievement temporarily raised the Russian self-esteem from its natural, weary and frozen in ice state.

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

In other words Russians have natural low self-esteem and this means having a much more realistic appraisal of the world around them. They're extremely sensitive to the sensation of being encircled and beseiged, partly because it's true, and largely because low self-esteem expects to be attacked or assumes(normally correctly)that other people are not as friendly as they seem.

Americans and Trumpism is a bit different. The sense of victimhood and loss pulsing through Trumpism is more is more all over the place than strictly defensive. Up and down self-esteem like a rollercoaster - it might build an iron curtain and hide away in its bunker or it could conduct a storm war across the surface of the earth. Emotional irrationality pulses through Trumpism where under Putin it is far less the case.

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

The same psychology draws American slobs to Trump. How much easier it is to longer question or think and have another man defend you because you're too weak to defend yourself.

Yet as lazy as any Americans are they do no suffer from Russian soul-weariness. The American slob is rather hypnotised and deluded where Russians possess remarkable clarity. Most Russians pragmatically accept the rule of a Tsar because they're NOT kidding themselves about what it means to be Russian. Russis is Asia at the end of the day - when Russians exhibit the behaviours of doublethink they do not believe in the role, they don't accept the lie as truth they accept the lie as expedient.

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

Many on CS feel close to Russia because it's full of broken men and useless crap nobody has any purpose for. It's a wallowing and weary, low-testerone and low-energy den of thieves that just about manages to not plunder or drink itself to death is when the master thief has them by the scruff of the neck. Russia can only achieve when it's squirming under a boot, it can not motivate or organise itself along any other lines.

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

70 years too late to trust the Russians I reckon. The Khruschev Thaw was the only time Russia has ever thawed and we should have taken up his offer in the 1950s - removing all Russian troops from Eastern Europe providing the Americans removed all their troops from Western Europe.

RE: Business and forums

There's nothing a western woman wants to hear about less than your day job. It's as boring as politics without the prospect of an argument, political discourse is tolerated in this environment where women set the tone precisely because it degenerates into Jerry Springer. The promise of chaos and discord is the saving grace for the one mature subject we do talk about. Personally I would like to talk about things relating to my business, I'd love a conversation about power tools.

RE: What is our experience of Emotional intelligence ?

You will mind about things because other people do matter. Intelligence is a lot like being on minus 1 alcoholic beverage your whole life, low self-esteem is considerably more perceptive, factual and accurate than high self-esteem. And of course vanity will claim to possess both high emotional intelligence AND the blissful joy of ignorance because they're not emotionally intelligent at all, oblivious to the downside of acute perception because they don;t have it.

RE: What is our experience of Emotional intelligence ?

I believe you and I very much believe your life would be easier if you were dumb. Intelligence is a burden as much as a strength.

RE: Success

Sometime the ambitious have big ego with low self-esteem - the gnawing sense of inadequacy which keeps the battle for power and adoration raging on. And other people find their true calling in life.

RE: Does Chatting On The Forums Count

You do get to know people but with far less affection. There's no life we experience here together

RE: If you had a boat what would you name it?

RE: Psychosis

It's ironic that you said that before throwing an insane wobbler.

RE: Meeting with North Korea....

You don't have to worry about Trump over-respecting anyone or treating anything that seriously whether it's serious or not. I believe you should put the calculated, self-conscious and double-dealing nerd republican to one side and allow Mr Blase to work his magic. The leader who makes it all about himself may overcome political divides because none of you know where you stand.

RE: HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

Happy women's day to you sweet lady. You're right on the half of society raising the other half; the world and everything in it would mean nothing without you and women will always be the reason why men have ever done anything creative. Equals peoples.

RE: HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

Mr Invincible meets with what I consider to be valid criticism. We know this cult of the super male comes from having a low to middling status job inside a boring industry, and the Fritzl fantasy very often comes from having little to no influence over anybody after being told as a child that you'd go far in life.

RE: HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

But when a man comes on like Mr Invincible women see right through it. That's what I'll never understand, women are really good at recognising the insecure foundation which posturing rests upon but not when it is themselves.

RE: If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Why.. do the 1% want to ban the rest us from sleeping and you're here to tell us 8 hours is a Marxist plot?

RE: 8th of March- International Women's Day

In my culture this is a day where woman applauds herself, promotes her independence and how exceptional she is. The English-speaking woman has no concept of women and it's not a public holiday here.

RE: Guaranteed

Mad Max doesn't happen

RE: Life sentences

Two or three decades of relentless social progress is the answer. Quality of life has to jump way, way ahead like it did from the end of the war to the 1960s - this is the only way to guide feral back to the people; it's knowing the world's not all wrong sometimes. Knowing there's a reason not to give up on life, the life sentence in western civilisation is its cynicism and ever-present sense of dread and the western man must be pardoned from this fate or we will decay into something like Russia.

RE: Life sentences

You see the feral animal sounds wild but could not live without the civilisation he scavenges from. His whole existence is sustained by the society he menaces. And like the civilised man the feral is not self-reliant - he could not survive without the civilisation surrounding him - but like the wild dog he is also not conscious of others. Through feral you basically developed a people incapable of surviving in nature or society.

RE: Life sentences

More broadly speaking many Americans have this feral - not to be confused with wild - instinct. An every man for himself lunge for the wilderness from people who've only ever known comfort and domestication. I contend that the decline and feral of advanced civilisation comes with a whole range of delusions and obsessive rabib compulsions which the wild dog and primitive society does not.

RE: Unjust and cruel

Don't say tipped off the public. It makes it sound like the federal government is an enemy of the people with something to hide.

RE: How has the Russian spy been poisoned?

Having said that sneaky Russia's low-energy culture dependent on the whip hand may be better for some countries that are in the European Union today. Putin is not all bad.

RE: How has the Russian spy been poisoned?

Having said that, and according to science, Britain is one of the few places on earth where its children are more likely to play fair instead of cheat. Russian behaviour which may seem shocking to a Briton could be second nature to most other foreigners.

RE: How has the Russian spy been poisoned?

People will blame the Russians just because they're a corrupt nation of spies with more blood on their hands than any other people and a thousand+ year history that not once featured a fair election.
