I'm not sure on the whole marriage situation to be honest.. Don't know whether it's really needed anymore. But in saying that I WANT to get married one day..
Don't know if I've already said it in the thread as can't be arsed reading back but personally, although uncomfortable I prefer wearing suits as thats (and I could be wrong) when I think I look my best..
Saying that I always make an effort even when just in jeans and a t-shirt..
Religion is the source of all evil in the world, just bin it off I say..
As for the point of having a king or Queen.. Well, it's what makes Britain, Great Britain. The most popular monarchy in the world. Just think of the amount of money the country would lose through tourism if we abolished it..
Come on you know what I meant... Are you seriously trying to tell me that if you were on the oull you would try and cop off with the uglier of the two?
Point taken about talking to anyone, I do that myself on a friendly basis..
Of course you go for looks first of all.. After all you've no way of knowung what a person is like just by sight.
Your sat in a bar and there are two girls there, one is very attractive and the other is a bit on the ugly side.. Who do you try and speak to? If your honest you will agree that you'd go for the attractive one everytime..
At the end of the day personality wins over but on first sight you go for beauty.
Mate as someone of your age (thats why i looked at your pro) I can honestly tell you not to worry about it.
I used to have exactly the same worries but one day thought f*ck it.. What does it matter what people think of me? As long as I was comfortable in what I looked like it really didn't matter what others thought..
The more I thought that the more confident I became, in turn I became more confident talking to people (women included) and have reaped the benefits (how big headed does that sound!!)..
What I'm trying to say in a roundabout way is balls to what others think, just be happy in yourself and others will follow
I have a great laugh on here with most of the posters.. However for me it doesn't compare to real life.
On the subject of ruining relationships, it can indeed ruin them as I found out recently.. Had been seeing a girl for a few weeks but binned her off as every time we were at her place she would sit on the computer for about an hour talking to and flirting with other blokes.. Although she said it was just a bit of fun it wound me up to the point of finishing it...
But on the flip side, I met a woman online on another site a few weeks back and going to meet her next weekend in Yeovil (where she lives).. So I suppose it's all swings and roundabouts..
