RE: 3 wishes

You will never beat the feeling of leaving an away win after an evening game..

Is pretty slow.. But, hey ho..

RE: 3 wishes

The game has become farcical.. The gap between working class supporter and the players is growing more and more by the day.. As you say, it's all about the money nowadays rather than the passion for the game.. But.. Moan as I might, I still go and watch Plymouth Argyle on a regular basis and go to Everton when I can.. Can't beat it.

RE: Hello guys

Hi and welcome! beer

RE: 3 wishes

Man Utd are a franchise nowadays.. Completely sold out on their fans, the same way Arsenal have gone..

As for Everton.. We're the ones who sold you the granny bashing Shrek wannabe grin

RE: 3 wishes

Hence Utd being relegated laugh

RE: What are you listening to.......#18?

RE: Very serious 2 day please tell me a joke

A joke? I have a joke..

Liverpool are still in the title race rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Hi Guys

Sorry to hear that. Don't think anyone can tell you what to expect really. All I can say is try to remember the good times, keep your chin up and stay strong.

Sorry for the pants reply, I'm naff at this type of thing..

All the best

Little Johnny

Little Johnny comes home from school one day and hears a noise upstairs.. He go's up and notices the noise coming from his parents room so he opens the door only to find his Dad giving his Mum an almighty seeing to. His dad sees him, gives him a cheeky wink and whilst laughing tells him to f**k off..

The next day little Johnny's Dad comes home from work early and hears a noise from upstairs.. Worried he runs upstairs to see what it is, he notices the noise is coming from Johnny's room. Now in a mad panic he boots the door in to find Johnny ragging the hell out of his Nan..

He shouts at Johnny "What the hell are you doing"?!?!?!

Johnny replies "Not so funny when it's your Mum is it"

RE: Rhymes to make the heart weep

Don't think I can top any of those, nice one

Favourite poem?

I'm no poetry nut, but there are a few that really hit the spot with me.. Got me wondering what is your favourite?

Mine is Rudyard Kiplings 'If'. Really hit the spot when it was read at Alan Balls funeral by his son.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

RE: proud to be brithish

I was more aiming at the outcome of WWII.. Had it not been for all those 'idiots' signed up and fought we would in a completely different world..

The say something random thread

But I had so much fun walking the Squid in the park.. Especially when I threw a chicken for him to fetch.

RE: proud to be brithish

I don't claim to be educated, just don't see the need to start effing and blinding every other word when getting a point across..

You mean like the 'idiots' who joined the services to fight for and save the Country you claim to love? You mean the idiots like friends of mine over in Afghanistan now, fighting against terrorists who want to destroy this land? It's thanks to all those 'idiots' that you are free to post your drivel on an internet forum..

The say something random thread

Just say something as random as you can.. Again I'll start..

I was talking to him that sunny night amongst the jellyfish as he painted the grass..

The CS never ending story..

You only get 4 words per post and can't reply to your own post.. Lets see what we can get.

I'll start...

I was once on

RE: proud to be brithish

Don't see your problem at all.. The people who come over here come to work and they work bloody hard! My Grandad came over from China when he was 19 and worked every day of his life over here! For 20 years he had 2 jobs, these people pay taxes, they abide by the law.. I'd rather have 10 hard working immigrants than 10 layabout chav type English people!

If they want to prey in a Mosque then let them, seriously, how does it affect your day to day life? I'd take a guess at not at all..

Like has already been said 'Jonny Foreigner' has helped make Britain what it is now, by fighting for us in our wars, building, etc... Yet you seem to forget that. It's people like you who give this country a bad name, not the foreigners!

Oh and resorting to personal insults just shows a total lack of class and intelligence beer

Live and let live I say

RE: The surrealism compliment generator...

You are as orange as a congeleen afro curled around the bony edges of a silver spoon expressing its innermost desires for a lime-based detergent.

Sounds more like an insult!

RE: The surrealism compliment generator...

Your unexpected explosion entangles us in a web of premature umbrellas and precocious timepieces.

dunno

RE: how long have you been on cs

About 4 days..

RE: gurkhas

Well, thats alright then laugh

RE: gurkhas

They have every right to live here IMO, more right than most..

Inter, with regard to being proud of being British. Eat that chip rather than put it on your shoulder..
