Maybe regret it...if I had it to do over again, maybe I'd get in touch--but he didn't contact me and I'm kinda shy... He was quite a bit younger, about 20, an undergraduate student and I've found that some younger guys are still sort of in transition, when you are alone with them, they can seem really mature and 'manly' and when they are with their friends, not so much so. I was concerned that after he thought about it, he thought I was too old for him,so didn't contact me. Also, we were living in different countries...anyway, I do treasure it as a lovely memory, and think about how it just stays a nice memory and wasn't spoiled by an actual relationship that might have not gone too well--dunno

How do men know what to wear?

I don't care what anybody says.....clothes are a big part of how a guy carries himself, and shoes are the first thing a woman notice, and they got to be presentable.

RE: The 911 Comedy.

Are you sure someone is making this movie, or is it just a rumor? Can't imagine someone actually thinking this is a good idea.

RE: What's in a name?

Maybe I am naive, but it is my hope that the EU will eventually gather in to itself all the European nations so they will work together--good neighbors, peace, prosperity--sounds rather Pollyannish, but....

Can you believe it?

What about the government, media...schools, scientists, how do we know what is true? Do we just take it on faith? Looking into their eyes or relying on body language doesn't applydunno

RE: What's in a name?

I am not a student of European history nor do I keep a close eye on current European politics, so I don't know how valid my thoughts are on this topic. I mostly depend on talking with people who are nationals of various countries to learn about their countries and there perspectives on things. Currently I work with someone from Croatia and someone from Greece (who is also a good friend). Neither has brought up this issue, so I wonder how 'immediate' it is in the minds of the people in general. I love Greece, it is hands down one of my favorite countries, but I have also lived in Turkey and know and love people from there. The Greeks and Turks have almost polarized views of their historical and current differences. The Balkans have been a poltical mess for generations partly due to intervention from outside forces, but also due to the difficulty so many European nations have had for so long--which is to work together. How much bloodshed and misery has been caused by European zenophobia? I was recently in Zagreb and when I told my co-worker it in some ways reminded me of Turkey, he started freaking out because Turkey is Muslim and how could his Christian country be anything like Turkey... My point is, that no matter who may or may not be right or wrong, which of these governments or peoples is going to show some character and move to compromise and work things out? It is interesting that your post says Greece chooses to call this country FYROM--since when does one country get to name another country? Greece is bigger and more powerful than 'FYROM' and plans to try to block their entry into NATO. That smacks of bullying. I don't know all the political and historical fine points and details, and I suppose if the situation isn't resolved soon, we will be hearing more about it in the media--which will probably not give a clear or objective picture of things.

How do men know what to wear?

Yes, I imagine all this calculating goes on in the mind faster than the speed of light. This is really interesting. Seriously. Thanks. I think younger men are probably more thoughtful about how they dress then older men. But, again, I really don't have a clue. wine

How do men know what to wear?

You seem to want to be surrounded by naked men....I think I'd find that a little disconcerting.wow

How do men know what to wear?

Actually it was a partly joking partly serious thread. I really don't know how men choose there clothing and have never been able to help a man shop (can barely do it for myself) or have any idea what to buy them if I want to get a gift. So this has been quite enlightening...thanks for your thoughtful response.thumbs up

How do men know what to wear?

So, a bit 'high maintenance'? uh oh

Can you believe it?

A lot of what we think is fact, scientific fact, is actually theory.

Can you believe it?

Do you always rely on intution--is that like gut feeling?

Oh, and I forgot to mention, he was Greek and totally gorgeous--including the dark, smoldering eyes and very, very gentlemanly....
