The is amazing. Good for you. Wow. I wouldn't be brave enough for eye surgery, not even lazer surgery--sticking with my contacts for as long as possible. (pun not intended)
Meersburg is a nice place. Very quaint. You really can't go wrong with visits to most of the places around here. But I shouldn't advertise it--too many tourists already!!
Yea, it's a nice place, lucky I landed here...I walk to town, walk across the street, and I'm in Switzerland!! Plus, the largest lake in Europe, not bad.
Sounds nice. I'm in the city, in an apartment, but this place has a really nice terrace and a wonderful view --villa's, trees, and I'm within walking distance of vineyards!!
Well, it's interesting, yes, but I don't consider this conclusive evidence. She wasn't dead, for one thing. I actually do believe that we are capable of depths of sensory perception we, humans, have not yet found out how to use. Something happened here, I agree, but it is not, to me, evidence of life after death.
Yes, Ginger, I agree with Ambrose, the OP is referring to romantic love.
I don't think you can love more than one person at the same time. Perhaps be 'in love' or lust, but not love. If you love someone, you never want to hurt them. It hurts if the one who is supposed to love you thinks they love someone else, thus he/she is not being loving toward you. People who ask this question want to have their cake and eat it too. They are not really loving either person in a deep and abidding way--they are just loving themselves because it is selfish.
I don't consider these things true empirical evidence. I wish that there was life after death, reincarnation, etc., it would be cool, but there is no evidence....I'm a cynic.
This is really wonderfully expressed. I'm always like this swimmer, hampered by ignorance and incapacity as I try to overcome all the difficulties and find satisfaction and happiness.
It is interesting, but true, that it is easier and appealing to find quick solutions, to cling to inadequate ideas which may appear to solve the problem, but really don't. Even when we realize the ideas or solutions we're clinging to aren't working, because they're all we've got, we keep clinging, and sinking.
I agree with this and will revise my earlier statement:I don't believe there is an American president and administration in the entire history of the country who has dragged America down as much as the current one--by far the worst ever.
As a person new to these forums, and noticing that most of this thread is people agonizing over the accusation of cliqueisness, i thought some might be interested in how you are perceived from the 'outside' so to speak.
What Makes You Happy?
