sounds like it has gone well already- just take it slow and kind of take your cues from them- if they want to play- play. if they want to talk, then sit and quietly talk with them. don't try to be their best friend- just be friendly. seems you have it pretty much sussed anyway. good luck to you.

i love a nice smile- slightly wonky teeth not a problem- for some reason i quite like the prominent canines- (like Nicky Byrne of westlife before the veneers!! oh if i was 20 years younger!!)
and got to have nice eyes too

once had a fire in our barn, and a whole troupe of firemen there- and I was off in Glasgow at Uni- they could have called me

funny thing was- My dad mentioned ( don;'t ask me why

) that my brother had a pet python- one of the firemen took off down the road and wouldn't come back- even when he explained that it was 60 miles away in Glasgow- kinda shatters the 'tough guy' image eh?
