You don't have to meet India anywhere... You are two different visions of the world and life and spirit as a whole... You can not compare and you shouldn't... Indians seem to be happier with what they have and more grateful too...
And yet, you seem too eager to find a problem with a young, educated Indian woman, who wants to try her luck elsewhere... She isn't homeless or poor or uneducated, doesn't have five kids and doesn't want your social benefits... What is wrong with you, rich people?
No, the government doesn't give to all and you should know it... There are almost 300 000 homeless people in UK of which 127 000 children... The working homeless Americans are not a myth but reality, you can find info easily...
Because they can... Just like millions of Europeans have immigrated to other countries... I have never seen an unemployed Indian in UK...or elsewhere... Have you?
But we are going off topic here... The OP just wants to try new opportunities for work and personal life... Nothing that you wouldn't want to do yourselves... Why she can not and you can, is the question?
The statistics show less than 3% difference in the unemployment rate comparing UK and India... Population of UK is 67.22 million, India 1.38 billion... Quite impressive... India is a rich country and obviously economically successful...even slams have their business opportunities and they are well used... No matter how it does look in our eyes... The poor areas can be found in every single country in the world even in those who show highest standard of life, like Dubai... Plus let's not forget that India has 1,38 billion people to take care of...
The divide is something else... The first world countries just keep the lever of poverty wrapped under a social system that makes poor people feel less poor than they really are... But that's just an illusion...
Are you calling India a third world country, Serene?! I wouldn't do that if I was you... India has the sixth largest economy in the world and space program since 1962... Hardly an undeveloped country... And you somehow presume she isn't working hard already...?! It seems she is pretty well educated too...
Looking back in history we never really had any freedom to start with... Whatever gentle revolution ever happened was just a tiny release of the leash length... The social media gave us the imaginary feeling of importance and we embraced it foolishly... And suddenly we were reminded we are still on the leash...
Do you remember how it all started...? How they tried to convince us it was a bat's fault...? Frantically tracking the traces of a woman who happened to eat some bat soup or whatever?! A woman from a country where people have been eating literally everything that moves for ages and ages... How idiotic it all sounds... But we bit the bite and chewed it for way too long... It's time to spit it out...
Too much time, the longevity is spoiling the urgency of purpose... Living like you will never die when the truth is most lives don't really matter...not anymore...
Protected? How? As we see with the Winter Olympics so many of the vaccinated participants tested positive... And it's just one small example... My ex is triple jabbed, he tests positive every time he has a PCR...and has to cancel flights...
In the beginning of Covid -19 situation, the world's medias were circulating old photos of dead bodies lined up in black bags, insisting those dead bodies were Covid victims... As in reality those dead bodies were of illegal immigrants who have died trying to reach Italy by sea at least an year before... There's nothing disrespectful in grieving a dead one, especially when it's is a child and it is a victim of a lie...
Ali, you should already know that very few here want to connect... It's not about connecting but putting yourself out there... Usually for all the wrong reasons... That's Connecting Singles...
Coffee is like wine. Some people drink it simply to get drunk (unload the gut if coffee) others just to enjoy and appreciate the quality of it... To each their own!
