The doubt will be crawling behind the curtain of "Everything will be alright"... It will raise its head more often than not... And the ugly scenes will become the main dish of the menu...
I said what I had to say. You brought up Mercedes in the picture, who knows why. It is not my personal dislike and I am not the only one who has been insulted frequently. Before you speak about someone have the decency to do know what you are talking about. There is a thread about potty mouthed people and we all give opinion. I didn't make it personal, you did... Fact!
And by the way, I want to say to Mercedes: I am sorry your pal Bassador put you in the "lime light". It was absolutely unnecessary an uncalled for... I have no problem with you at that present moment and I mean it!
Thank you, Loulou, it seems that being conscious about health makes one look like a pretentious snob in our fellow forum experts eyes. I am amazed how many people have health problems but refuse to give up on their "treats"... It's just food and most of the time food you don't really need in order to live normally.
Potatoes are high on fast carbohydrates, which means they spike your insulin pretty quick, therefore the blood sugar level rises. No need to be an ignorant arsehole...
Nobody in my family swears. The worst I've heard from my father is the occasional "damn it"... I never, ever heard a swear come out of my mother's mouth. I honestly find swearing unattractive, especially when it's women doing it. I think it is trashy and low.
If more people were like me when doing shopping , many businesses will have to close. I have always been a crafty shopper and never give in to the new, useless trends. If I don't need something I don't buy it. And if I need it, I'll find it at the best possible price. Young people are the best spenders, even very young, they need the newest phone, every single new gadget and are ready to spend ridiculous amount of money on something that is purely a status thing. Even those who claim to be the opposite (yoga, pilates and all the other hippy trend lovers) would give a quid for an egg if the label says the hen was happy delivering it...or spend a fortune on a yoga mat and gear...
A client of mine in her early 20-s gifted me a deck of Oracle cards that cost 50 Euros... I felt quite uncomfortable taking it. But with the time I realised she would do anything to impress, which is the case with many young people.
Thank you! You will be in safe hands. Picturesque but isolated... It would make a great place to go from time to time... But in my book, life should be busy and people should do as much as they can in their life time... Afterwards it's the eternal rest that awaits us ...sooner than we realise.
We are who we are, we don't need anyone to make us feel good about ourselves, do we?! The fact that I'd spare time to go on a date should be enough. Time is of an essence...and we all should give chances even if we are not convinced we should...
Only for one and only one reason, to become a surgeon... I am certified to do electro surgery now but only on skin formations up to 2.0-2.5 cm in diameter.
The question is, why would one have a dream job at heart and not do anything about it?! Why wait and not be prepared for it? So many people hate their jobs yet do nothing to change that.
I recently discovered the existence of the metal straws... I couldn't believe my eyes. We spent decades in making the life of the newer generations easier and more comfortable and we are coming to the realisation it has all been in vein. It wasn't appreciated and certainly not applied in the right way. And everyone involved in "green" energy is making loads of money but why can't we see the effect of it? Climate is changing, that's normal, the pollution is more or less greed and simple lack of manners. Those who tell you it's your fault are the biggest cause of it.
These straws are soon to be discovered in a sea turtle's nose, just like the plastic ones... Just teach your kids manners, hygiene and environmental consciousness...
I have always said that Forums are the Speakers corner for me. Say your piece, say what you feel you want to say and go. No need to justify or agree. But sometimes there's a trigger moment that may result in a wholesome, multifaceted tirade...and one will not even notice.
That is the real problem here... Trying hard to find an excuse, be overly sympathetic and feel sorry at any cost. No wonder someone wise said, The road to hell is paved with good intentions... There is nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade...for a change!
Most actors have had a traumatising childhood. That's why they are good at playing characters, trying to gain power over their fears. But that doesn't help them be wiser and deal with their real problems. There's no excuse for them. And definitely no more sympathy for them then the children from the getho who were sold to peados by their own mothers .
