Gal, is there such a place? Insect free, you say? Nah. But all you need are the right tools though. Generally, air-conditioned spaces don't have that problem and when you add things like nets and Off (or most other mosquito sprays), you're good to go.

Enjoy a winter wonderland or vacation in the warmth of a tropical island, for the entire season?

For many years, peoples of the Caribbean who may have lived and worked in the US or Europe, have come home to visit with family and enjoy the good food and drinks, yes, but also to ‘escape’ the cold climate. It happens most often to those whose bodies and budgets have grown weary and could no longer manage the season as well as they once did, when they were younger and excited about experiencing the snow.

I have never had the opportunity to do that, so my preference for a warm climate is mainly due to observation (and a few science-based assumptions). Besides that, my ‘old bones’ could barely manage the cool temperatures here.

What about you?
