I like mysteries and comedies, but stay away from supernatural stuff, so I guess I'm opposite. I like Agatha Christie mysteries, Sherlock Holmes, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Cat Who series of books, Erma Bombeck books, etc.
When "Then Came Bronson" was on TV, I wanted to take 5 years out of my life and tour the U.S. on a motorcycle like the star of the show did. What a trip that would have been!
Not at all. I found someone on another site, but I have not put "In a relationship" in my profile yet because I am waiting for her to heal and get to the point where she is ready to have a relationship. When we get to that point, I will change my profile for her, or get off CS entirely, whichever she prefers.
I check out a great many profiles of women, but rarely comment in email although I do sometimes comment in the blogs or forums. Regarding the profiles, it isn't that I don't find the women interesting, because the CS women are fascinating! I mainly check out profiles of women that seem interesting, for whatever reason. Another reason I check profiles is that it's the only way to find out whether someone is in my age bracket. Some women look way younger then they are, while others are young but look older than they are. How am I to know, unless I check their profile? And what would be the point of writing if I find them to be way too young or way too old? I wrote a very nice Happy Birthday greeting to a 30-something woman in a town a few miles away, and never got a reply, for example. Others have also pointed out that some guys might be too shy to write, and some guys are intimidated by the very attractive women on CS. Still others see a profile and just are not interested in a particular person. Sp there are all kinds of reasons why someone wouldn't email after looking at a profile.
I agree that it's rude not to respond to a polite message. Actually, I would tend to respond, anyway, but that's me. Interesting that 3 times as many men expect a response. I wouldv'e thought it would be the other way around.
Ironically, wealthy ladies tend to hang onto their money, so even if he found a wealthy lady she would most likely dole it out in small increments. Not satisfying to a greedy guy who wants wealth now. Speaking of which, our OP seems to have disappeared. What's up with that?
