I say what I want to say, in as nice a way as possible, generally. But I also hold back somewhat in regards to the women I like on here. In real life, I would be shyer and much more restrained (not as bold) as I am on here. After all, there's no point in scaring off the few women who might approach me!
You're not kidding, Boban! Must be tall, good looking, attractive, financially secure, be a real man, be a bad boy (for some women), be younger, etc. How can we compete with that?
Heck, I seem to be permanently stuck in the friend zone, and have been all my life, with the exception of my two marriages. My friend zone rating must be stuck in concrete or something, because I haven't been able to break out of it, except for marriage.
"She'll call you"
Yeah, right. I'm sure I'll be eagerly awaiting her call, sitting by the phone for years on end, hoping she'll call. Uh, huh. Hasn't happened yet, and I don't expect it to happen in the future. No, I'm actually not the least bit bitter - I'm just being realistic. Of course, if by some miracle God just accidently drops a woman in my lap, I will eagerly accept her, but the older I get, the dimmer that hope seems to be.
Assuming that I were into interviews, these might be some question I might want to know from a woman. Interview questions: "Do you go to church and, if so, which one? Do you have kids, and if so, do they live with you? Are you looking for a long-term relationship, hopefully leading to marriage? What are your interests and hobbies? Would my not having a car be a problem for you? Would you still go with a guy who doesn't have a lot of income coming in, who is retired, and who is on a fixed income?" These are just off the top of my head, and on the spur of the moment.
I read an Ann Landers column once, where a guy wrote in to say that he'd met someone who had a written interview that she presented to every potential date. He asked Ann's opinion about this. I'm sure I don't need to tell you what Ann's response was, but just in case, she thought that written interview was kind of nutty. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned conversational skills?
By the way, for the record, I like questionaires and surveys.
No offense, but we already have hundreds of blogs about scammers and trolls. It gets old really fast. We are aware of the scammers, as is the site managenent. We recognize that the scammers may come as a surprise to newcomers, but believe me, we already know about it.
Iam Tab's job is to try to keep this country from sliding down the toilet even more than it is already. If people don't wake and see what's happening to our freedoms that our founding fathers bled and died for, then we Americans are going to wake up one morning and find we have a dictatorship and we've lost all our freedoms.
Wake up, people! Open your eyes, and smell the stink from our rotting politicians who don't have the guts to stand up to the President and say, "Enough is enough!"
RE: Are you careful when posting?
I know what post Monte is talking about.
