Interesting you should say that, 'cause both my wives' first names started with "A". I guess I'm working my way through the alphabet. It's gonna be awhile until I get to the Z's. Well, actually, the woman I'm interested in on another site starts with "L", so I'm accellerating a bit.
Maybe when HuggerMan4U walks into the grocery store in Mississauga, Ontario and sees 2Intrigued? Instant heaven, at least for me. There's always hope in the human soul.
I didn't initially understand that they were only separated physically, not relationship-wise. Okay, in this case, I'd say he cheated on her, especially if they had an actual COMMITTED relationship. My ex knows my emails, and could theoretically look at my email whenever she wanted, but probably wouldn't. And, if I really wanted private email, I have other emails that my ex doesn't know about. Of course, I never flirted online while I was married. I know better than to commit suicide!
I totally agree with you. When someone dumps a person, then by definition, a relationship no longer exists. Therefore, since the relationship has ended, both parties are free to go their own way and do whatever they want. If they then get back together again, what they did while on their own cannot, and should not, be held against them.
A buddy in the U.S. would be a friend, a pal, a bloke, someone to pal around with, or in the modern teen vernacular - someone to hang with or hang out with.
I don't know about forums, but I strongly believe that love can form online, even before people meet. It happened in my last relationship, which started online, and we were together for 14 years. And I'm interested in a woman on another site, and we both have feelings for each other. We haven't met yet. So love can definitely form online, despite what the naysayers tell you.
Thank you. And,as Paul Harvey always said, "Now you know the rest of the story." Again, using one page of local men and women in my area, here is how the average age break down:
48 local women, ranging in age from 21 to 74, average age is 40.5 years 48 local men, ranging in age from 19 to 67, average age is 39.1 years
Statistically, the two average ages are statistically insignificant, meaning they are so close that they are both almost identical.
I would have expected the average men's age to be higher than the women. I was surprised by the outcome.
Statistics on this site are really hard to come by, so I was forced to look at only the new members to get these statistics. If new members represent the approximate breakdown for the CS population as a whole, then here is how it breaks down:
New Members (men and women combined): 14,064 Of these, 4,233 (30.0%) are women, and 9,289 (66.0%) are men 306 of these women (2.17%) are looking for women 282 (2.0%) of men are looking for men Thus, the available women are 3,927 (92.3%) of all women on CS Available men then become 9,007 (96.9%) if all men on CS
I'll need to do more research to get the average age. Looking at the statistics, the women have much more variety in men, since there's about twice as many men as women. For men, however, the available women are far fewer, so it seems there should be a lot of competition among men for the available ladies.
I'm different from every other guy on this site. I give every woman an equal chance, regardless of looks. What's inside is the only criterion for me. Looks fade, but who a woman is inside stays with them for life. I'm like a double blind study with woman. I don't know who I'm going out with, but by the time I date her, I know she's a beautiful person inside, which is all that counts with me.
When I look in the mirror, it's like, "Well, hey there, handsome...let's see what kind of day we can create for ourself today." No wonder I have such good days, when I start the day out right.
Timothy, in the Bible, evidently had some stomach problems, so the Apostle Paul had this to say in I Timothy: Paul advised Timothy, “No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities” (I Timothy 5:23). Of course, in that day, there was alcoholic and non-alcoholic wine, and I suspect that Paul was advising the use of non-alcoholic wine.
I voted that the men are the ones who compromise the most. As a group, women tend not to take no for an answer, whereas men as a group tend to cave in. All a woman has to do is give the guy a sweet hug and kiss, and it's, "Okay, honey, we'll do it your way." But if a guy tries to convince a woman with that technique, he'll see the working end of a frying pan! Women can see right through us guys. We don't have a chance against a woman.
Boomboom - Shut you up, Boomboom??? Nay, lassie. I would much rather have you talking. That way, I would always know what you were thinking. Which reminds me...I still haven't visited Ireland yet. What part of Ireland did you say you lived in, Boomboom?
Like Solitare and others said, at our age, it's almost impossible not to have accumulated some baggage along the way. This site, for example, has a great number of divorced people, but they seem to have moved on with their lives. To be in our age group, and not expect any kind of baggage, is totally unrealistic in my humble opinion.
RE: Any genuine decent members
