Jesus who would know better than us stated it as fact. Parables are parables and told clearly as such. But Jonah is in the generation as a forefather of many who live today. If not mistaken a forefather of Christ......many of these so called by you fabel people are the forefathers of Christ. many today can follow their forefathers back to Adam.....and these so called fable people are their forefathers.....real people.
In life....what a person looks for ,they will find. The same town can be a terror or a heaven, by the person who desires such one way or the other.
A person if he believed it....could argue this is a matrix and we ard in pods being grown like carrots. Anything is possible by sicere warped thinking and seeking. Who cares what a person believes....except for their attacks against something they don't think is real affecting others thinking with there opinions. With an idea......a person can not be convinced against their will.
The Bible is true with proof if one will look at it soundly. But they will not......making anything up real or not to disput its value.

Some things misunderstood are the readers errors. fire lightning....have you checked the Concordance to see if the word translated lightning means a bolt of lightninging or that it would fire lightning (the giving of light by starting a fire) I haven't looked but things need to be checked even if you think you know the meaning.
I had to inform someone of this very thing.......there was a lightng from east to the west....it was the rising of the sun and it lightened from east to west......not a bolt from the sky. Many errors are from such.
Jonah was made to be alive again.....he died and was vomited out. This is why Christ used it to say about himself....3 days and three nights in the heart of the Earth..... and then he was resurrected........ like Jonah and the whale.

I think it is time for me to refrain from off color joking. I am trying to return to a better self taken from me by events past. I have learned a lot about human beings from thier actions. I have found more kindness here than among those I speak. I will still be here but I will joke without the off color subjects and words.
When I do this I will only have one bad habit left.....lying about how many bad habits I gots!

I found that making jello but putting it in the freezer makes a good snack that satifys. I freeze it and then take it out and micro wave it a few seconds.....it makes a slushy treat. I like it more frozen than a slush. Try sipping the hot jello mix before freezing....its good and strong flavored....a little goes a long way too. Try it both ways. tasty.
I better go for now! I sure am glad to see there are so many clean minded people here that love fishing. I bet if we all got together at one time......someone would catch something.
