I had very few first dates after my long-term relationship (7 years).

And yes, John, I was nervous a little, but not uncomfortable, it was fun.

That I don't know.
I don't think that changing this feeling will (on it's own) insure that the date will be successful.

Both understand that a bit of tension is normal when ppl first meet.

Definitely internet dates are very different in that respect - most initial questions are already asked, so the two can just relax and be themselves without pre-planned questions/conversations.
