RE: Depression' The Reasons.

depression arises from miss-or-lack-of-understanding, type of delusion.

In relation to the subject matter of this thread Depression'The Reasons:

There are a number of reasons one i'd like to try and explain is we have this time rebirth by karma (moving energy) with a human form, because in the past we created that merit.
The length of time the human rebirth lasts, is dependent on amount of merit. And no drugs or anything else will prolong the length of that time.

If we exam carefully we are defiantly able to deduce our true nature is not the perceived "I" (ego) rather our nature is energy. That energy containing the seeds of our tomorrows, in Buddhist thought has been taken form birth, or formless rebirth since beginningless time. Certainly many many eons.
That our human form differs from that of other sentient beings likewise migrating from life to life in so far as we are enjoying an enhanced ability to reason.
Its from that sort of thought process one studies the explanation given in the first post herein i made

RE: Depression' The Reasons.

Buddhist would disagree with most of that

And certainly disagree with taking drugs to correct depression. That to my mind represents complete stupidity

RE: Umm

For a long time I’ve taken my Vista computers security seriously.
Frontline defence is a program called Mailwasher which with mail unopened still on the server allows me to read the first twenty lines of any emails about to be downloaded into computer and delete off the server unopened. To a degree it is able to identify some types of viruses.
Then Malwarebyte has a proven record of protecting computers by completely removing all forms of malware, including viruses, Trojans, spyware, adware and rootkits.
Then behind that I have Kaspersky the programs rapp can be found here:

My old but trusty Office 2000 Premium program is patched SP1 SP2 and SP3, I run Ccleaner, also jv16 and Auslogics Registry cleaner program as well as the excellent Free Defrag program.

RE: Umm

oh ok this explains a fake version of the program

whatever i have used Kaspersky for many years, it cost me $30 bucks a year or something and its what i use.
I don't use Internet Explorer or Windows Defender either, as neither of those are trustworthy.
Russian, Mr Kaspersky created the first ever Anti-virus program to combat the CIA and thats my preference

RE: Umm

RE: Umm

Something got through the program and cause havoc not so long ago, will see if i can come up with the info

RE: Umm

oh that Microsoft program recently got breached, i would disagree

RE: Umm

Yeah that is possible but different problem. They call that Key Loggers, Malwarebyte program, free or paid version, i use paid $27 version which gets updates and of course Kaspersky Internet Security Services Anti-virus combats that sort of activity. Also has a virtual keyboard you can use to mate

RE: Umm

what operating system you running

RE: Umm

Serene though i have FireFox set as my default browser i also have Google Chrome browser installed as well, it is probably the most secure of all the browsers.
I always use Chrome on this site as it is a tab based browser so nothing can go from one tab to the next. Firefox now also offers a tab based browser, however i've elected to remain with Mozilla FireFox version three as i didn't want to update RoboForm password manager I've installed in it

RE: Umm

welcome

I often run Ccleaner, have Malwarebyte running all the time as well as Kaspersky Internet Security Services Anti-Virus program

RE: What reading appeals to you most?

and solution for our happiness

perhaps you missed that

RE: What reading appeals to you most?

Since the beginning of time, we have sought to find happiness and escape from our problems by changing our world...

the cause and solution for our happiness and sorrow comes from our own minds.

Three things are necessary for the salvation of man: to know what he ought to believe: to know what he ought to desire; and to know what he ought to do.

RE: Who Reved me up the best

Dunno, but for a fourteen year old shes sailed further than i have, must be doing right. I guess is a sense of achievement, when you sail there is quite a bit of satisfaction that you got their and didn't hit anything on the way and the sea or weather didn't get you.
Sailing demands all your attention, your boat sort of talks to you, it creaks and groans. Your always weighting tides and currents, wind directions, the birds, the fish-life, the crashing sound as waves break, flapping sails and whistling in the rigging. The boat dances, bump's off waves and plops as waves rush by. You dream of a nice hot shower and stargaze half the night at the ever changing night sky, constantly watch the weather while you think what if...

Sitting in the cockpit near the entrance to the cabin I was monitoring the fishing ship that had been sailing for half a day 2 nautical miles behind me... The last time I took a look it was slowly moving off my radar screen. But then the alarm for ' zone 1' suddenly went off! How can that be? A boat has to go through 'zone 2' before this can happen and that alarm had not been activated... On the radar screen I could only see a long line disappearing then coming back on again, but then I knew the reason why... It was a low flying airplane from the Australian Customs and Border Protection. "Sailing ketch, sailing ketch" ... I could hear coming from the radio. That is me! ... This was the second time an Australian Customs airplane was flying over. But it is quite normal here as they come over to ask for your boat's name and some other information. To come in unseen into Australian waters must be almost impossible. Since I had already given all the necessary information back in Torres Strait I only needed to give my boat's name since they already knew all the rest. We had a nice chat and then they wished me a nice trip and as Guppy sailed into the night the plane flew away. I had a very good sleep last night since there is not much ship traffic around, so today I feel much better than yesterday. I had to have a good night's sleep anyway because I will need to be in shape to finish this crossing. The next obstacle en route is already waiting for me ... it is a 100 nautical miles run between sandbanks and heavy currents with a possible seven meter tide flow…

Laura

Laura is now close to Australia

RE: ""THE CONFESSIONAL""

See they now put AlJazeera TV News on. John Howard (i think it was) blocked cause they wasn't stupid enough to support Bush version of reality
