RE: Making bread

I buy bread baked in the spirit and traditions of country Australia, where bread was homemade, took time, was generous in size and full of abundant goodness. Which is brimming with natures simplest ingredients, including overnight-fermented dough delivering a healthy loaf with the best possible flavour, taste and stays fresh like for well over a week....

Comes sliced to...

RE: Have i had too many coffees? :o

Oh it probably hasn't changed a lot round here, the Ensay Store has changed hands a couple of times, Darby still owns the Creek IGA, garage has changed hands, likewise the Creeks Bakery, which makes the best pies in Australia (not kidding) the butcher has gone, the mill still working, government departments hog the road with fancy Toyota's, Forestry & DPI.
I only been round here 3 years, another fifty to go before being considered a local...
your welcome, white and one will do

RE: Have i had too many coffees? :o

Yeah mate, for once it looks like the Australian Government has got something right

RE: we should worry about the chinese military

You'll worry in Solvenia if China continues support in the Middle East for a war against the rest of the World

RE: we should worry about the chinese military

Its my view that the Chinese Government are Blatant Lairs, they have continually miss-used the truth in relation Korea, Tibet, Taiwan and other international conflict areas such as there current unfounded, groundless and outrageously baseless claims to the Spratly Island group, which is clearly got nothing whatsoever to do with China.

I've just been reading a BBC News up on the latest ongoing criminal activities China is engaged in the Spratly Islands.

in part
China is engaged in maritime border disputes with several countries.

The South China Sea includes important shipping routes and may contain rich oil and gas deposits.

The Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan also have rival claims in the area; China's claim is by far the largest.

RE: Iranian Subs in the Red Sea

It seems the Chinese News have an angle on the reasoning behind the deployment
in part

TEHRAN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Navy submarines have been deployed in Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea to conduct maritime surveillance operations and also identify warships of other countries, the local English language satellite Press TV reported Tuesday.

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

This evenings ABC news had an idiot proclaiming what is Horehound as in the same league as marijuana. Rubbish...
It makes you wonder what these Christians are on.
Horehound is a beneficial herb that has been used by mankind for hundreds of years. One of the most renowned aromatic herbs of the genus Marrubiumsome; often candy is flavoured with an extract from the horehound plant.
Either he has smoked it and proves in what way its harmful or will of course be remembered as just another clown government attempt to mislead the public with.
The clown claims workers are smoking it in the mines and are getting off there faces smoking it.
Yes you can dry and smoke it, (its not bad, but not a very good smoke) you can even make tea or a form booze from it, but get off you face on it, he is talking crap

RE: Man drought inflating middle aged mens ego

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

think she is also being guided by Tony Abbot to, in my opinion he is been guided by John Howard and as was shown on tonight's TV suggested to her to implement a Carbon Tax, he didn't say "if" at all, likewise at the last moment supported her cigarette packaging crap.

RE: Man drought inflating middle aged mens ego

Hi faithe wave

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

I think Political Parties should be outlawed.
Politicians (Servants of the people) are elected to express the views of the voters, they meant to be expressing the views of the people, which has nothing to do with personal leanings or views of the candidates, they are not paid to express there own personal views on anything, they are paid by the Crown, to represent the views of the people.

At the moment in relation to the Carbon Tax, Julia Gillard appears to have paid actors to lie in claiming a majority of Australian want another tax, she has set out to get the sheep to agree with her, that's its a good idea for everybody to support something she has proposed in the first place.
To my mind she is putting the cart before the horse, as the job she is paid to fulfil is to listen to what want, not create an outcome she wants

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

I agree with you shell and think others might try and understand it isn't necessarily so that they are que jumpers, there are many valid reasons why people cannot go through regular application processes. Like in you must apply from within your country of origin, try asking Taliban for an application form, Iranian ajimajab (spelling) or few other lunatic for an exit visa and they put bullet in de'head.

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

hehehehe good on you Kizzy, pity you didn't get elected, good one

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

Yeah there are different angles on most subjects LOL

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

The Japanese government is more or less broke, but not the people, they got all the money tucked away in there bank accounts...

Currently the country is being run by parties suggesting people should spend all there life paying taxes instead of engaging in more meaningful pursuits like studying the usefulness of and making meaningful use of there temporary human rebirth.
Mostly i guess its so they can fund earning many times more than most people will ever even dream of. I can think of any other reason.

Refugees i read are forced to pay for there time in the likes of Villawood perhaps your not thinking very clearly Merriweather

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

I think the biggest destruction to our environment is being created by greedy people with grand plans exploiting less fortunate people.
Take southern Queensland, particularly what was the lovely sunshine coast, now cesspit of crime, wall to wall motorways, brick and tile go go go, i need to pay off what i couldn't afford 24/7 mentality.

Gone from 9 million to 20 + million people in recent time simply so people coming from overseas can be exploited, not for any other reason.
What has occurred hasn't improved any aspect of Australia that i can ascertain

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

how much and by what department money is spent is a complete nonsense, there x amount of dollar circulating in the hands of government, whether it gets spent in this or that department i doesn't really matter, where ever it goes it goes round the round about back into government coffers within days

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

And there is: -
in part
Pamela Curr from the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre says that there is currently political interference in the review process and that it undermines any involuntary return program.

Early last year the federal government placed a freeze on the processing of the claims of Afghan asylum seekers. The freeze was lifted later in the year, with the federal government claiming that more people would be sent home as a result.

“If people are not refugees then they have no right to receive a visa based on refugee that is a given,” Curr told Crikey. “My concern is that the refugee determination process has become so politicised, that the decisions are being made not on the merits of the case, but in order to send a significant number of people back.”

RE: I just dont quite know what to believe... ?

Part of some text on Bowen website
The Outlook for Net Overseas Migration: May 2011 takes into account the latest economic outlook and other changes announced in the 2011-12 Budget.

“The latest forecasts show NOM will continue to decline to about 160,000 people by June 2011,” Mr Bowen said.

“Beyond June 2011, NOM should stabilise at around 170,000 to 180,000 people per year.

“The Government’s recent reforms have contributed to a decline in NOM levels by almost half from its peak of over 315,000 people for the year ending December 2008.”

Even though NOM has been declining, the report projects that Australia will see an increase in the share of skilled migrants from around 25 per cent in 2009 to 43 per cent by 2014.

Wouldn't take his word for anything

RE: What does a Kiwi need to know if crossing the ditch lol

I think its a good option Normal, certainly until you find a place you like. Not to hard to find camp-site while your moving, bit harder to find affordable one when you stop, but otherwise i think is a good way to see this country
