Oh Amenda The japanese invaded Manchuria in1931 in hopes of gaining more natural resources to support their massive expansion and militarization. They no longer wanted to rely heavily on the U.S for resources and decided Manchuria was ideal for a japanese expansion since it was already fighting a civil war between nationalists, communists and warlords.
During the second world war the Japanese tied bombs to balloons that then rode winds across to the west coast US of A in an endeavour to start fires in the forests their. Though I think the balloons travelled upon the jet stream, this morning they showed Japan's weather and it appeared to show winds heading in that direction.
The power station ('s) seems on the brink of total destruction, there design has spent rods cooling alongside the actual reactors, which was reported last night, one of those has boiled dry. The reactors though encased are also thought to have ruptured.
A spurt a few nights ago, expressed his concern that the one reactor in the 2nd power station, that had let off hydrogen, was a reactor that had been shut down prior to the quake as it contained spent rods awaiting removal. He expressed concern that those rods presented the greatest danger, now we hear the other station also has stored depleted rods cooling without containment.
Today two helicopters dropped two buckets of water each, and somebody parked a riot police water cannon truck nearby. Well that's about the sum total of effort i heard was expended today to contain whatever is going on.
If you’re in Japan I think you should WORRY, do something like head south ASAP

I watched the Japanese people being interviewed on TV, for the most part there composure and frankness, which appeared really genuine was truly remarkable.
Yep we can't control them, i lived on the side of the Comboyne mountain near Taree, and every now and then you could hear a deep booming sound going on inside the mountain.
The Newcastle earth quack likely had links to that.
I was interested to note the fault lines here in eastern Victoria...
Its still possible more quakes, an expert here is still uncertain what direction the main energy is going. Seems unlikely NZ or even Aust would experience a major wave but its not been ruled out yet
you would be doing your fellow countrymen a big favour if you lobbied your government to transport them out of Libya or Tunisia instead interrupting the useful and well motivated information Zeus and others are sharing in this thread
if your serious i say no but you can, sit down still your mind and try and find self, see if you can deduce whether or in what way or extent you personally exists.
I think party politics causes a lot of that, there are many honest politicians who get over-ridden by following the party line. Be the biggest flaw in any democratic system
RE: Is Japan's nuclear plant meltdown going to affect your life???????.
