So here I am now, two years on and today have had another leg of this incredible journey unfold...
Yesterday I attended an internal interview, 6 positions up for grabs and 14 applicants .. the program I have been working with for the past 12 months is coming to an end on June 30 but these further opportunities were revealed a couple of weeks ago and expressions of interest invited.
And this afternoon I received a call to say I was successful!
My role will change slightly and will be more challenging but I love what I do and am so looking forward to it
I suspect your parents have been caring for you all your life due to your disabilities and may not realise that you're an adult now, maybe you could discuss this with them
Whatever the choices you make, be safe - always meet strangers in a public place and don't do anything that doesn't feel right
