Have to say i dont think he d stoop as low as what was on tv last night, he s well known and respected internationally well more so in Europe, has to be worth something
Pat Cox should have been in there instead of Mitchell, thats where it went wrong. Good enough for them stabbing Kenny in the back again picking that pleb. Cox would ve been a shoe in and proper statesman too head and shoulders above that bunch of riff raff
Have to laugh at Dana, waving her copy of the constitution about like she was bible bashing, Sean Gallagher wasnt as good as he was on the late late Be interesting to see the verdict now
Well out the country its a necessity ...even in towns ..might get away with it in Dublin but he d be limited if he wanted to date a country girl ...and as for touring stay-cation ..forget it!! .. Sure he could pick you up on the bar of his bike
They ve been around over thirty years ....but today they ve gone their seperate ways. They started up just as I was getting used to being a teenager ....those were the days when music was music!!
Liveline ten minute telepoll . . . 22008 voted Gallagher 6% Dana 6% Higgins 10% Davis 11% Mitchel 12% Norris 27% McGuinness 28%
* only 215 votes between Norris and McGuinness. FF effectively blocking anyone else by deciding not to support anyone cos they wont put anyone forward themselves looks like a kick in the teeth for democracy by denying people the chance to vote for the two that are still trying to get on the ballot paper
Have to say its been heavy reading on the McGuiness threads, would hate to see what was on the threads that appear to have been taken down if the sometimes twisted and deeply opinionated stuff on this thread is anything to go by. Cant see why people are being shot down for giving their opinion. Between this thread and liveline, his entry into the race would appear to be causing more division and entrenchment than any kind of the unity he says he s trying to achieve.
Theres a few years work in New Zealand rebuilding after the earthquakes and they re actively recruiting Irish cos of experience gained during the boom. Good way to ride out some of this slump and you might be lucky and get an evening course down under
