That takes me back a few years. . .one or two of the lads let off tear gas. .we were all made sit in it for around half of the day till they owned up . .if memory serves me right they got a couple of days off too! Then a queue over to the GP to be checked out.

Doesnt the vote breakdown make interesting reading. The younger ones, who have had no experience of living through hearing of atrocities every day are mostly against her coming. . .the older segment who have lived through all this are the ones most in favour of her coming. Majority in NI want it as it is. . .or what are teaching in history class these days???
Joe Duffy did a poll on this issue a few months ago and it was 2 to 1 in favour of the visit. Other polls carried out by him have been accurate and even predicted the 'no' vote in 1st EU referendum
If what s being said at school is having such an effect on her she might be insulating herself against the possibility of her other friends starting the same thing . .or vice versa. Just keep at what you re doing and the fact that her teacher had already copped on is good cos now you ve got help coming your way. Just keep reassuring her, let her know you re there and she can talk to you about anything. Tell her the advantages of being tall . .better at sports etc etc and what she could be when she grows up. Oh has that aunt any kids or influence in that school? Oops dont wanna start a fued
Hope it all works out for ye, all you can do is keep at you re doing, might be an idea for teachers to include stuff in class discreetly about some people being different. Seems she could be a lot taller than the others and attracting comment. Would she open up to her dad or a favourite auntie on a fun day out or something, she might nt feel as though they d go to the school . . .one other thing, if the problem is at school why is she hiding on a totally different set of friends?
