What I cant understand is how come the mods don t do an IP address check ...mightnt get them all what with mobiles and different devices but it could do a bit of culling
The cycle lanes are part of the footpaths ....no interaction between cyclists/pedestrians and traffic, and no traffic manouvres called for between the roundabouts Just for comparison they have 80k on the N4 into Dublin ...and that road also has footpath and cycle lane...but there are sliproads leading on and off and lane changes may be required leading up to the M50 depending on which direction you re going.
This road he mentions ....is a dual carriageway, has no entrances worth mentioning leading onto it, has wide footpaths both sides and also cyle lanes ..if my memory serves me right...
Yea they d badly want to audit the roads properly....not just go by class of road...theres national secondary roads down here that are not fit for 80k let alone the 100k they re set at while there are regional roads out there well capable of taking the 100k ...and as for automatically downgrading national roads when they re bypassed ....lunacy in places
Was behind a truck one day on the dual carriageway between the 2 roundabouts beside Collooney......was wondering why the car behind was flashing.......turns out there was a car in the outer lane coming towards us all!!!
