Sorry Albertghost,I think that if you had read all the comments in this overly long thread you would have seen quite a few snide remarks directed at me by the thread author.
According to him "the paramedics are on their way to give me my medication" is one example.
Sorry I am unable to cut and paste the actual comment,but I found it quite patronising and condescending.
All the way through this thread there have been constant digs at the British public and, frankly, disrespect for our way of life.
All I have ever said in reply is to defend our right as a nation to respect the tradition and heritage that this country has enjoyed for centuries and will continuue to do so.
A third of the world will be tuned in to see this wedding and hopefully will celebrate with us the marriage of our future King.To compare it to a circus is at the least disrespectful and totally uncalled for.

Yes there are a few in the UK who are anti Royal but in general we love the traditions and heritage that has been in our nation for centuries.It's a pity others have no respect for our traditions.

Having explained to you in depth that the country as a whole stands to gain financially from this wedding ,[as do many other countries who have jumped on the band wagon producing mementos,ring copying etc.] by several other members,perhaps it's time that you let go of the whole issue.
It's a day of celebration for many people ,and, I might add ,not just us Brits. People from all over the world will watch ,even if out of curiosity .

I will probably have to pay towards the bail out of Greece because of the financial mess they are in,same as Spain,Portugal and Italy. Should I complain about that and tell them all to sod off.
