There is no right or wrong way in how we deal with our problems.I believe in the old adage "A trouble shared is a trouble halved" but some things in my life I would not want to burden my friends with.
I have a few friends since I was in junior school,still in touch but not as close as the ones made along the way. I am proud to say that my close friends would never back stab,that's why they ARE my friends.
So many people over quite a few years have tried to bring order to the Forums,but it will never happen.
I have seen some wonderful people come and go over the years,though not necessarily due to the disruption within the threads.
People will never tolerate being controlled,and you will always have those who chose to disrupt rather than participate in a friendly manner,and with observation you get to know who will give respect and who loves to bad mouth.
We are now fortunate to have some form of control via the Moderaters ,who are much quicker at closing disrespectful threads,and getting rid of troublemakers.
It's basically about common sense and knowing when to participate or withdraw.
These are the latest figures,it used to be higher. We are not alone,this is a world wide problem.We are fortunate enough to have a welfare system,even if it is under pressure. There are those in other parts of the world far worse off.
