The main problem is that if Greece doesn't get it's financial act together, and cannot pay back any monies loaned THEN we are all up the creek without a paddle.
The operative word here is "could" which is what I put in my post. No we do not use the euro,but we are in the EU. George Osborne is requesting that we do not bail your country out,but by the rule of thumb I would imagine that we will have to contribute,and the figure refers to the possible losses.
The potential devastation of Banks and other City institutes could be equal to 24 per cent of our annual national output,which equates to £14,640 per family in the UK.
