Yup...a woman I was envolved with on and off throughout my twenties. Usually it would happen right after another relationship or when I was just missing her. I would run into her or she would call out of the blue. She was not pleased when I got married, I doubt it will be happening again.
I live in a rural area. No way you're gonna get help from law enforcement in time. People don't break into houses much around here, it's a good way to get shot. If you surveyed 100 of my nearest neighboring households I would be surprised if more then 2 of them didn't have a firearm in their home. With a good dog you're not even inside the house before your presence is known. The combination of guns and dogs and good neighbors makes the idea of home invasion a very bad plan.
I'm still friends with several people I graduated highschool with. All but one of us has needed a hand at some time or another. Be it moving back to parent's house, in with friends or moving friends in to make ends meet. The most common cause of this was divorce.
Most men won't openly admitt when this happens, but it's not uncommon at all.
Don't sell women short assuming they can't see past your living situation to see that you are solving the problem and improving your options. Some can, some can't, and some won't want to.
RE: Ever know When A Certain Someone Is Thinking About You?
I know there was love...but not compatability.
