Firepower??? The whole surrounding region has a huge amount of firepower and more. Not to mention Israel being vastly outnumbered. Did you see the types of weapons intercepted by Israel on the ship last March? That was just the ones intercepted. Who knows what could have got through that Israel did not intercept. There is huge advanced weapons in the hands of Israel's neighbours that Iran is willing to supply. If Israel hands back Judea and Samaria the landscape (see Conrad's video some posts above) will make Israel indefensable.
Thank you. Now tell me, wouldn't it have been wonderful if they had accepted the land given to them in 1948 rather than refuse it. Then they would be prospering now. Unfortunately their leaders used them as scapegoats from then onwards. They have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
I can see you have a modicum of sense up there. So you would of course agree that for things to move forward Israel has to be fully assured that the State and its people are completely safe. Right?
We don't need to yell it. Your views and others on here are plain for all to see, and the ignorance about the past and present situation is abysmal considering for several months now I and others on these threads have posted link after link, and yet lots of you still come up with the same old same old rubbish. And also these threads are always started by those against Israel, never by those for Israel and against the arabs.
Israel is not kicking the arabs out. As I said, they are happy in Israel according to opinion polls. They are able to get brilliant health care, social care, are able to become members of Israel parliament even if they want to. They were offered land of their own - a large proportion, but instead decided not to accept it and went to war on the newly-formed State.
And joking about nuclear weapons is uncalled for, particularly in the light of the fact you have visited Israel. You know the situation then more than most. The arabs hate the Jews with a vengence.
So, as soon as Hamas and Fatah, et al declare that they want to live in peace, peace will reign.
The truth is that if Israel were to put down its arms there would be no more Israel. If the Arabs were to put down their arms there would be no more war.
