RE: What a wonderful world!!! again...

The miracle of the creation of a new human being and the beauty of music.

RE: regional accents

Just a London one, not 'posh and well-spoken' neither a cockney.
I love the Welsh and Merseyside accents. I hate the Africans accent, but the South Africans are lovely people!

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

You'll be fine TC. Everyone feels a bit daunted by the first day at a new job, but you will soon be doing it without even thinking - and it will all be so natural to you. Have an early night and best wishes for the job. teddybear

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

Haha, get this. I just heard on the news that trains between London and Norwich have to reduce their speed from 90 mph to 60 mph because overhead wires are overheating. I heard you have 15 degrees in Scotland? We are due 31 degress here. Fancy swapping? laugh

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

oh no, more typos, woops. I am not a happy lady in this heat!

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

What made me smile is the news that this heatwave is going to end today. Don't get mne wrong, I like the sun and warm weather, but this is too much. cheering

RE: WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER TONIGHT?

laugh I thought it may not have been your average home-cooked Saturday lunch.

RE: WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER TONIGHT?

Two roasted chicken drumsticks, home-made potato salad including chopped spring onions and chopped gherkins, coleslaw, tom and cue, and being the pig I am I am eating a couple of slices of fruit bread! My daughter is staying with me - she lives overseas usually, and I got in all the old food she used to love before she moved away, but now her tastes have changed and she doesn't like that sort of food anymore. Everything tastes of nothing to her as she is so used to highly flavoured food! She has agreed to buy her own food from the specialist shops.

RE: WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER TONIGHT?

Wonderful. Who cooked it?

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

You're very welcome. Life is funny isn't it. A load of ~~~~ then it's wonderful again. Hope you enjoy your new job and after the time you have had, you will appreciate it all the more.

RE: What made you smile or laugh today

As I indirectly helped you Tomcats, you owe me!!! rolling on the floor laughing

Well done - very pleased for you applause

RE: Building the best sandwich

In the Adam Sandler movie called Spanglish he makes an amazing sandwich. I can't find the clip of the movie online, but here is Adam Sandler learning how to make that sandwich for the movie. For those that can't eat bacon, or vegetarians, you can use those Quorn rashers.

The recipe is at the end of the clip.

RE: RE: Ye Thought or Rant of the Day!!!

Yes, speak soon wave

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

Well done. I am sure I have smiled today but I can't remember why rolling on the floor laughing

RE: RE: Ye Thought or Rant of the Day!!!

These steam generator irons are brilliant aren't they. The one that just broke I got from Ideal World shopping channel as the demonstration won it for me and it was about £45. I realise though I will probably need to pay a bit more. I will have to do some comparing! I prefer steam generator irons to regular as they are ideal for stuff you wouldn't normally go near with with a regular iron.

RE: WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO NOW PART 3

I love Smooth radio and sometimes listen to that. All the oldies!

RE: RE: Ye Thought or Rant of the Day!!!

Hiya wave

Excessive is an understatement. Hope you find what you are looking for. I need to get a new steam generator iron as my last one packed in last week, I think due to the hard water problem we have in London. I will need one with a removable tank this time to keep it free of scale.

RE: WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO NOW PART 3

Luckily I have Spotify and finished work half an hour ago so winding down with Craig Ogden guitar tunes and a mug of decaff!

RE: Happy birthday Carenza.

Have a brilliant birthday happy birthday

RE: is cc just a chat and tease site

I suppose it is how you go about things. If you want to date get emailing those within your distance range. Send good emails or you may not get the right response. Make the emails say something about that person's profile that will encourage them to answer the comment or question you ask. Make your own profile a great one - I think there are tips how to do that on this site. Keep plugging away at it as the more you contact people the greater chance you have. Also take part in different forums so people get an idea of what you are about.

Just my opinion!

RE: Does living together strengthen or ruin a relationship?

Maybe it is complacency. Perhaps people work more at a relationship if it hasn't been made 'legal.' dunno

RE: US is negotiating with Taliban

The three of you will just have to start a new thread. This one is far too serious for frivolity laugh

RE: Does living together strengthen or ruin a relationship?

It is strange. I know people who live together and their relationship is strong, yet when they got married their relationship crumbled. I wonder if people make more effort with a relationship if it is not a marriage.

RE: Body Detoxification

I don't know about detox, but the less processed our diet is the better. Rather than detox, and then going back to bad habits I think the following is better. However it is easier said than done!

No processed food, everything cooked from scratch. Organic fruit and vegetables as much as possible. Free-range poultry and eggs. Not much red meat. Enough water to drink based on your height and weight. Plenty of good sleep after an evening winding-down etc. It is no good detoxing and then filling the body with bad food and drink. Having said that I personally don't drink enough water, eat processed food, don't exercise enough etc., etc. It is always easier to talk the talk rather than walk the walk.

RE: I am honest and kind-hearted because

Because that is my personality. Some are and some aren't. Your poll option answers don't apply to me. I have been told I am too honest and kind, but that is just others trying to cover up their weaknesses by blaming me for something that comes natural to me, if you see what I mean.
