Can anybody tell me

Is the place in America called Area 51 or area 52, dunno
is it a real place/places, has any one seen them ?

And now the joke.

A tiny dyslexic alien lands, Goes out and about on his mission of exploration.
upon returning he notices a large crowd have discovered and gathered around his landing site. Unable to see over the tall human shoulders.
He approaches one bystander and says;
"take me to your Ladder" laugh sigh

a crows song for my friend Nozeal

I sit here among the rocks and pebbles; I try ponder the lifelessness that surrounds this baron bed on which I lie.
But the relentless howling of the wind breaks my train of thought at every given opportunity,
as if to mock my attempts at gaining a foothold on my internal precipice.
Another gust blows an angry blast around my ears and I think;
Even if I do make purchase on my inner space how and where will I travel?
Again a bellow from the clouds disturbs me.
This time with an accompanying whistle, I cannot feel the rhythm of the day the rhyme and reason escape me,
I am at a loss. I sigh outwardly in frustration at the wind, and to me it seems to understand. My whisper for an instant seems to be louder than the spiralling uncontrollable blusters that have been plaguing me.
Another angry gust is thrown at me but this time I breathe it in,
I fill my lungs with its power and absorb the noise; a louder more aggressive sound tries to beat me down,
But as I take this one in to consume it, I sense something else within it, I exhale and breathe in again.
This time I place all of my awareness to the illusive something hidden in the breeze. My mind closes in and clasps onto it.
It lifts me up and carry’s me high above the torment of the wind. It is the distant cawing of a crow.
I watch her spread her wing tips wide, like fingers playing music in the air,
I concede that she knows better than I about such things and I ask that she take me with her.
With few graceful glides over my head and a cawing of recognition I feel she has agreed and I close my eyes.
I breathe deep expanding my lungs; I listen to the soft distant song of the crow. She sings me away from the rocks and down to the low ebbing tide as it is about to flood,
Her song now only a light percussion to the low swoosh swoosh’s of the far off waves.
Waves seeming to somehow perfectly match the ventilation of this mortal coil, with one last heavenly caw from the crow and a breath of salted sound from the ocean to my soul. I felt my feet touch the darkness of inner space. I thank the crow for her song. That is after all only wise.
Now I must journey long and alone, and perhaps that will lead me to enlightenment.

Peace my friends, and to my enemies I ask that you walk with me in darkness toward the light.

Well somebody is bound to ask this question sooner

That is of-course if it hasn't been asked already, which I am sure it has been perhaps even in the form of a heated debate over many a Bar or lounge room table !

"Should Pole dancing be an Olympic event ?"

I mean obviously the women who partake in such a past-time or profession have to have a vigorous training programme and I would presume a healthy diet and lifestyle to attain such eye popping skills as they display their prowess on the stage.

To me these women display the same amount of grace and beauty on a bar that you would see in a ballerina on the world stage or a world class gymnasts doing floor exercise for a gold medal. And what's to say the woman on the bar has not gotten back up from as many falls or recovered from as many faltering staggers as her classically trained counter parts.

Its never funny

when you break a bone, I broke my knee the other week.

A broken kneecap happens if the small bone called the (patella) that rests above the front of the joint breaks. barf

It really was painful and I went unconscious in the ambulance.
Eventually when I came round I was lying on a gurney, my leg had been placed in a cast and elevated . The Doctor said I had been quite lucky and had quite a bad break he pointed to the bright light wall and said my x-ray was very explicit.

I looked to the wall to see what I can only describe as about ten student
Nurses all quite attractive too may I add. They were all nodding intently, gasping each other and groaning low moans. As I eventually saw my x-ray through a gap in the group of beauties it had become clear why they were all fussing and looking at me so intently wow

Human Rights

Coming from Ireland, I have to say that from a human rights point of view I am very proud of how we recently passed the legislation on the allowing of gay marriage,

The Vatican's reaction was the Popes right hand man
Cardinal Pietro Parolin stating that this was
"a defeat for humanity"

on the other hand
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin Ireland said
"It is very clear that if this referendum is an affirmation of the views of young people … [then the church needs] a reality check."

This leaves me very unresolved on where the Catholic church stands on the issue.

Are other church leaders as well as catholic ones divided on the issue. ?

I'm just watching Sky news,
I find it very funny that the presenter has just asked Andrew MacKinlay if he though He should rethink his euroskeptic position because and I quote
"The leader of the free world has asked David Cameron to stay on side".

The reason I find this hilarious is
1. I dont ever remember voting for a Leader of a free world,
2. The very word Free would mean that having a Political leader imposed on me is the exact opposite of Freedom.

The Group of 7 (G7) is a group consisting of the finance ministers and central bank governors of seven major advanced economies as reported by the International Monetary Fund:

The group was organised prior to the 1973 Oil crises and perhaps is now all about Gas,
Russia is suspended rather than diplomatically involved.
And now I'm listening to Obama saying this is due to Violations with
the annex of Crimea.
Whereas China with all its human rights violations has often been involved in The group as a guest member,

Not to mention Obama's lack of interest in sanctioning Israel due to its violation of rights.

I am also somewhat upset at The G7 being used as a platform to drum up support for war. even though I do under stand that war is part of big business and an industrial gold mine for certain nations.

Perhaps I'm wrong but isn't This the UN's roll to dictate.

Please move along ! nothing to see

How very strange the workings of the internet, Virtual words of virtual shape and meaning bring virtual profiles together, but there is nothing virtual about the friends and foes we create their in.
Forged in friction or fun these virtual pathways playing and struggling all the time becoming more and more real and in this new born reality, just like in life we take someone's presence for granted, and more often than not we procrastinate the acknowledgement of who exactly they are to us, Modern life keeps us so busy sustaining the convenient lifestyle we all expect, and at certain times we are called to question the validity of this convenience and the actual price it effects on our priorities. Hindsight is indeed a cruel teacher in such matters and for the sake of a few words in the now. We may save ourselves a life time of should haves, ghostly unopened e-mails, and the very human need for it to be yesterday once more.
So as late as this maybe;

"Simmo You were a good friend, you will be missed"

I've been feeling old lately.

Aches and pains, and my one good eye is starting to blur.
my longing for prunes is escalating in frequency as my shout for the go get em life is replaced with a whisper of "Meah"
I also feel a strange need to tuck my shirt into my underwear, and the strangest thing about it is that somehow it seems the sensible thing to do.

Hopefully I will be back to my youthful self tomorrow.
But just in case this infliction is an ongoing thing'
I am drawing up a contingency plan.

Below are a choice of roll models I am thinking of basing my next stage persona on.
which one do you think would fit best in today's fast paced society.



Or I could try maintain a little dignity laugh
