THE MEANING OF LIFE
What should be the most important question ever asked is, What is the meaning of life?
Why are we here? Who put us here? What put us here? Is there any plan for our existence? What is the point of all the species of creatures that have existed on our planet. From Dinosaurs to modern day humans. Why the predatory nature of animals. The savagery. The wars between people. The billions of stars and planets that exist but are uninhabitable.
You could say that the whole universe is a kind of chaos. Are we an experiment put here to see how we cope?
I know that I think a great deal about this dilemma we are in, but can see no real sensible logical reason why this whole existence came to be.
Wouldn't it have been better not to have started this world and no one would ever have experienced the drama that has unfolded since it's beginning? Or is there a serious plan behind the whole conception?

The purpose of the Ephod
One of the most interesting stories of the Bible is the story of the Tabernacle. We begin seeing it in the book of Exodus and it keeps popping up in the Old Testament almost to the end. We know it was powered by an energy source which made the face of Moses shine at night. We know that later when accidents happened and people were exposed to the energies contained in the Tabernacle, they burned and died. On one such occasion when the Tabernacle was accidentally cracked and people nearby burned and died a lead candelabra was hammered into the crack and the device became safe again. It can, be presumed the core power source of the Tabernacle device was radioactive.
Back in the 1920s the US Mason brotherhood realized the description of the Tabernacle's construction and it's use were those of a two way voice radio. Adjustment or tuning of the frequency was done by adjustment of the golden curtain threads. Whatever, today we will talk about the garments used by the Levite priests charged with maintaining the device for Moses.
Their garment is called an Ephod. The book of Exodus provides specifics as to the manufacture of the Ephod. Gold is used extensively in the manufacture of an Ephod. Gold is a very efficient shielding against radioactive materials. Today we use lead, but if you have it, Gold is just as good.
You will see below a picture of what we think an Ephod looked like and also a picture of a modern lead apron as used by technicians who work around radio-actives.
Modern technicians working around radioactivity wear devices called dosimeters to measure the amount of radiation they are exposed to. Exodus 28 describes a breast plate of gem stones used by the early Levite priests. Specific gemstones and minerals are described and to be placed in a specific order upon the breast piece.
For the first two thousand years of Christianity an unusual feature of these gem stones was not known.
Specifically, each of the stones reacts in a visually noticeable fashion to the presence of radioactivity. Further the amount of reaction varies as the intensity of the radiation exposure changes.

And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row. And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst. And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
Here is some of what we know about some of those stones today and how they behave in the presence of increasing amounts of radioactivity.
Topaz - Turns blue, then brown as the radiation exposure intensifies
Emerald - Turns deep green, but under fast neutron bombardment it turns clear.
Sapphire - Turns gold colored with a significant decrease in electrical resistance.
Diamond - Becomes yellow then green in color.
Agate - Turns magnetic and glows blue in the dark
Beryl - Turns golden yellow.
Onyx - Glows brightly after exposure to strong radiation sources.
There are 12 different gemstones used in a Levite priest's breastplate. I have not googled the effects of radiation on all of them, but from the 7 I name above it is obvious the priest's breastplate made a very simple, yet amazingly accurate and sophisticated multi colored dosimeter capable of revealing with just a quick glance how 'hot' an environment the wearer had been exposed to.. <It is worth noting that Turkish and Brazilian Onyx stones are used today in fashioning some forms of modern high exposure dosimeter devices.>

The progress of AI can not be prevented according to experts, and the future of
this planet is in jeopardy. As long as there are countries that suppress their population, the number of new ways to observe individuals behaviour will increase, and anyone who steps out of line with government policies would be taken care of. Also the development of armies of robots would be inevitable, and would replace humans, and could be used to invade weaker countries.
Already, closed circuit cameras are used in autocracies such as China, to watch their citizens, and what hope is there to ever reverse the future escalation of AI.

HIGGS was the scientist who believed in a substance that would enable light to be converted to matter. So, in the beginning of creation of all elements there must have been something to enable matter to be formed.
The Hadron collider confirmed the existence of such a substance and Higgs name was given to it, hence the Higgs boson.

Supermoon...
Oh, say it ain't so. TWO full moons in the same month! That rarely happens and this month is special. Starting tonight, the moon will be closest to earth making it appear brighter in the night time sky. If you follow events, people usually get irritated during a full moon. Police get record numbers of calls and emergency rooms are usually very busy.

New report out of Harvard indicates that social distancing may be necessary until 2022 if no vaccine

The US may have to endure social distancing measures -- such as stay-at-home orders and school closures -- until 2022, researchers projected on Tuesday. That is, unless, a vaccine becomes quickly available.
That's according to researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, who published their findings in the journal Science on Tuesday. Those findings directly contradict research being touted by the White House that suggests the pandemic may stop this summer.
The team at the Harvard School of Public Health used what's known about Covid-19 and other coronaviruses to create possible scenarios of the current pandemic.
"Intermittent distancing may be required into 2022 unless critical care capacity is increased substantially or a treatment or vaccine becomes available," they wrote in their report. "Even in the event of apparent elimination, SARS-CoV-2 surveillance should be maintained since a resurgence in contagion could be possible as late as 2024."
The Harvard team's projections also indicate that the virus would come roaring back fairly quickly once restrictions were lifted.
"If intermittent distancing is the approach that's chosen, it may be necessary to do it for several years, which is obviously a very long time," Dr. Marc Lipsitch, an author on the study and an epidemiology professor at the Harvard School of Public Health, told reporters.
Another important factor: Whether people become immune to the new coronavirus after they have been infected. That's not yet known.
Potential challenges include finding a reliable test to determine who has antibodies for the coronavirus, establishing the level of immunity conferred by previous infection and how long it lasts, and the capacity of overstretched health systems to carry out reliable, widespread antibody tests in the general population.
There's also the difficult social questions around immunity certificates, which have been floated as a possibility in the UK. Would they create a kind of two-tier society, where those who have them can return to a more normal life, while others remain locked down?
The study researchers say they are aware that such prolonged distancing, even if intermittent, would likely have "profoundly negative economic, social, and educational consequences."
They hope their research will help identify likely trajectories of the epidemic under alternative approaches, identify complementary ways to fight it, and to spur further thinking about ways to get the pandemic under control.
Though coronavirus cases in the US have been soaring, social distancing appears to be effective.
Social distancing is "one of the most powerful weapons" against COVID-19, said Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"If we can just maximize that social distancing, we can limit this virus's ability," he said earlier this month.
States across the country have issued stay-at-home orders, allowing only for essential errands or tasks.
Penalties for breaking the order vary by state. In Maine, the penalty for breaking the order can be up to six months in jail and up to a $1,000 fine.
In Florida, a pastor was arrested last month for continuing to hold large services and is charged with unlawful assembly and violation of public health emergency rules, both second-degree misdemeanors.
This week, states on the East and West coasts announced they are forming their own regional pacts to work together on how to reopen after the stay-at-home orders.
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Rhode Island and Massachusetts each plan to name a public health and economic official to a regional working group.
West Coast states of California, Washington and Oregon also announced they are joining forces in a plan to begin incremental release of stay-at-home orders.
