That's drowning inside

where reflections of fear
are diminished and concealed
Almost gone, almost here.

There's a place within me
Deep inside my soul
Storming like crazy
beyond my control

When the sun's
Light finally appears
Resurrecting the laughter
that Used to be here
I'm filled with
Contentment
Exuberance
Animation
Ambition
Delight
Life
And I carry on until
the last ray is beyond my sight.

Life is Random
A Journey of Wonder,
I was once lost,
but now I'm Found.
What was once a delicate matter,
is within my reach.
Under the influence of;
The competitive Edge,
I Will meet the Future

We wait to be born, so we can be here
We wait to grow up, but we grow up in fear
We wait for the time when we can leave school
When we can be adults, and make our own rules

Then we wait, and we wait, to be rescued - by whom?
By the 'one', who will save us from boredom and doom
We wait for the love, the love of our life
Only to learn that love's full of strife!

We wait for the next time, next time it will be
Someone who will love me, for just being me
So we wait for the good, and we get through the bad
We tell ourselves next time, it wont be so sad

Then one day we wake, wake up from our dreams
We begin to see clearly life's not what it seems
If we wait and we wait for things to improve
We are waiting in vain, for nothing will move

For none are so blind that cannot see
The truth will not wait, it will set you free
Free from waiting for the right time to come
Is right here, right now, it's already begun.

What is the dark, but the absence of light
What colour is black, but the absence of white

What is a heart, that has hardened like stone
But a heart without love, where coldness is 'honed'

What is a mind that is closed and unbending
But the ego pursuing a quest never ending

What is a life that remains unexamined
But a lack of the truth, a spiritual famine

What is a spirit that has lost all it's faith
But a soul unaware it has fallen from grace

And what is a soul unaware it exists
But a life without growth surrounded by mist

Come into the Light, it is here you begin
To shed all your fear and find heaven within
