To a Troll

Take a hike you horrid troll
Go and dig yourself a hole.
You're no good to one and all
Not even to yourself withal.

You pour upon the World your spite
And when insulting finds delight.
You really are the foulest skunk -
Is it because your manhood's shrunk?

You must belittle all endeavor
Then you leave thinking you're clever.
I would not even p*ss on thee
You monster of inadequacy.

uptown girl

you and me
in a little car shop
buying dreams
with the money we got
but dreams are free
at the break of dawn
one by one
we let them go

ninety nine cents
ain't a dollar
your daddy's rich
and I'm blue collar
floating down
the highway high
ninety nine
red saloons go by

ninety nine bucks
in my pants
limits us
and our romance
you wonder why
I even try
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

ninety nine
is a soft ice cream
I watch you eat it
like a queen
and we sleep beneath
the blanket sky
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

black the haze
in a mug, soft chair
we wonder if there's
something out there
"you're so cool"
you'd sweetly lie
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

stepping stones
your every word
your beauty
made me look absurd
you lit a fire
beneath the sky
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

bivouaced in blonde
you dream
a smile that silenced
every scream
cantankerous,
I said goodbye
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

yet every now
and every then
I pay my bills
and still have ten
you smile
as on my skin you lie
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

all our dreams
are in assembly
in the valley
of our memory
another girl.. another try
as ninety nine
red saloons go by

Back and again.........

I feel like I am walking through an old neighbour hood
The distance of time has me misunderstood
Shall I go and visit here and there
Would there be people who would love to share
I sneak a peek down an alley or two
This should be old but it's really new
So I am wary of this place that I am in
My senses highlighted has tarnished my grin
Who knows what pitfalls lay ahead
What memories rise to greet me instead
How will I respond come what may
To the words of people and their conviction today
I guess their is only one way
Charge on in and have your say
Write with vigour and with flare
Accept any comments that they may share
Let wisdom surround their critique
For every writers words are always unique...........

Just Shine

Whether work bills family or friends
Everybody's stress is tailored to them
You've come this far
Carry on you must
You are a shining star
And on your journey you must trust
Today it may seem dark n grey
But let me tell you how it pays
In the darkness of your stress
Is where you harness the best of the blessed
Mostly unawares of the magik we're making
Yea at times is painstaking
Why me?
When will it pass?
Want a light to shine upon you fast
And guess what
That light is shining
While we worry fret n whining
Blind to the Divine timing
Pause
Listen
Breathe
You're never alone
Your higher self has always got you
Though at times ya feel lika drone
Maybe a clone
Like E.T wanna phone home
Escape this pest n mess
So tired, all ya want is happiness
Patience
I said patience dear child
Whilst in that darkness you are manifesting all the while
Stay strong
And stay true to you
Purging n healing
Like praying n kneeling
This cosmic force from Source down uploading through the being n appealing
I said a shining star you are
And I'm afraid you can't shine without darkness
Now smile because you are more than blessed
Thank you

I Have A Dream

I have a dream
Of consciously conscious peeps
Awakening from a dreamy state of sleep
Breaking bending the rules n refusing to be sheep
Riding rising to the top of the hill although the road is tough rough rugged n steep
I have a dream
Of people under stairwells
Locked like in prison cells
Removing masks n scales n peeling veils
Losing minds to find their own true selves
I HAVE A DREAM!!
To raise this vibration of humanity
To erase the indoctrination of systematic vanity
People asking questions n questioning their very sanity
Heart chakras wide open to revolutionise reality
Re-Membering from whence they came n claiming back their immortality
Getting rid of the box n all that normal normality
I have a dream
Of people living in harmony
And though it seems far from me
The dream manifesting momentarily
Multiplications of dignity n integrity
Not to mention gratitude grace Love n empathy
A perception of understanding like a stream n flowing free
Unity n peace
War cease
Positive interaction increase
The flow of the ego just like deceased
All beings upon the earth jus partying lika feast
I have a dream
I have a dream
I had a dream that I was dreaming

Rattle That Cage

I come to
Rattle your cage
Tickle your rage
Gots ma incense sticks & plenty of sage
Don't need no wage
I do this shit for free
Be excused but please don't excuse me
On profane profanity
You call them cursewords of vanity
I call them sentence enhancers
Put the noun to the verb n make them dancers
Be a chancer
Take a risk
Skinny dip n back flip
Reprogram your computer chip
Right n wrong are but perceptions
Being programmed from birth we gotta make exceptions
For those that just don't get it
Those that try but lie cos they always a sweat it
I'm no seer or guru
I drink beer n smokes joints 2 til 2
And far from me to tell anybody how to live or how to be
But I will be me
Bore to ya core
Grind ya face full into the floor
Make ya taste that dust a little more
Until your mind frees n you can see your
Perfect reflection
In everything
In all the world offers n brings
Especially when it shocks n stings
Lessons to embrace
Pay attention don't let em go to waste
Wanting you to see clearer
Always reverting you back to the mirror
Always n in all ways peeling back the veil
Your veils n limescales
The greatest project you'll ever work on is yourself
I Love you baby

About this poem:
The greatest project you’ll ever work on is yourself, point no fingers of blame, three always point back your way, only lessons to garner, lessons to help balance karma, everybody is a teacher, they’re neither friend nor foe, so there’s never any reason to be offended, being offended is a weakness of the ego

SHARING NATURE'S SIGNS.

Freeze frame the moment, love on cue
Mesmerizing spectacle, magnificent too
Staring at peaceful scene, a night sky
Velvet backdrop, stars twinkle on high

Capture the moment, trying to understand
Beauty shines brightly, down upon land
Isolated yet stirring, and so serene
Pinch yourself asking, is this a dream

Nothing detracts, simple beauty of night
Waiting the moon, as if a glowing kite
Follow shooting stars, eyes crystal clear
Hold back emotions, struggle with a tear

Moon hidden momentarily, soon glows again
Halo clad focus, misty like falling rain
Remembering night sky, unique-surreal
Insight of reality, with nature's seal

Imagine strangers watching, a night sky
Sharing the very moment, together sigh
Held in personal memory, waiting a time
Understanding, a night all shared a sign....

To remain in their thoughts, a special time
Wishing into the heavens, they could climb
The magic will never be lost, remaining true
Romantics enjoy every moment, as all lovers do

Spring prayer

At last
From warm words
And random tears
Shed over
Quiet weekdays
Love starts to bloom
Suddenly.
May we breathe it in
And may we forget
To breathe it out .

HOPE

Who can tell, what lifts a normal day
Changing it quickly, to bright from grey
Whatever happens, inner sun warms
Lighting our face, as a smile is born

Hope springs to mind, important too
Every day we wake, HOPE on cue
Changes boring, to an excited path
Fairy dust, for animals and humans cast

HOPE so special, for old and young
Lifts spirits, like a special song sung
Makes normal days, change so quick
In a moments breath, as a clock ticks

Burdens

I shuffle, and stumbled ,my gait missing steps.
My voice just a whisper..my lips they
Do tremble. And on again on again ,oft
Do I go, down to the river slow footed slow. And raising my arms I cried out "set me free" and off of my back my troubles did leave ,into the river , to all that Believe.

About this poem:
This isn't the first time I've written poetry. I like to try and capture my life, my struggles, my joys my laughter. But also emotions stirred up about people, things, places, thoughts, amusement, love and life. It's like art, in written form, hoping to grace my pages with wit, movement, character, clarity, and humor. Sometimes even conditions of the soul.
