About this poem:
""Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch.
How does God talk, and to whom? Here's the answer:
"I talk to everyone. All the time. The question is not to whom do I talk, but who listens? Intrigued, I asked God to expand.
"First, let's exchange the word talk with the word communicate...I do not communicate by words alone. My most common form of communication is through feeling.
Feeling is the language of the soul. If you want to know what's true for you about something, look to how you're feeling about it."

Kindness

Ever heard it said treat others mean to keep them keen !
I personally much prefer be thoughtful, be kind, be true .
Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
However
If someone should disrespect you,
I hope that you will choose to move right on.
Or, you will feel able to verbally stand your ground
And if it helps maybe think of Karma, and the saying..
That...what goes around comes around.

What would be your last poem?(Challenge)

You only have a day to live..
You need to summon all your
powers of being and come to
grips with the last poem you'll
ever write..
The field is wide open..
What would you express to a
world seemingly bent on self
destruction..
Or might you share something
simple and personal..
Or..something else?

LIFE...

As a steady fine mist, rain falls
Refreshing life, is nature's call
Coating the earth, dull-grey
Wait sunrays, to again play

Giver of crystals, shards of life
Dazzling-uplifting, as roll of dice
Bringing changes, day as we know
Varied weather, lifts spirits from low

As a beautiful day, a smile brings
When birdlife, can be heard to sing
Life takes on, special joy and hope
Free from its struggle, easy to cope

Though weather variation, gives life
Accept and welcome, without strife
Good and bad days, show us the way
Appreciate life, cherish each and every day.

Understanding

So, you think you've had it tough my friend..
And times seem rather bad...
But life is what you make of it..
And if perchance you've had
A series of misfortunes and you feel you want to die...
Before you give the game away consider for a while...
If your life is in a great big mess whose fault has this all been?
And have you tried to fix it or been just content to dream.
As they say it's always darkest in the hour before the dawn..
So come, look on the brighter side and don't be all forlorn..
For in a world that's filled with sorrow,
Heartache, pain and often tears..
There will always come tomorrow when all these will turn to cheers
So go and face this great big world, and very soon you'll find
Your trials and tribulations were just figments of your mind!

knock knock..

knock knock..
It's time to
listen to your
heart!
This scene is
gettin' old
It's time to
be bold!
It's time for
a brand new
start!
Are you willing
to do whatever
it takes
Have you courage
enough no matter
the stakes
To break through
the wall that
blocks your way
If this speaks
to you then
start today
Mabey one big
move might do
the trick
If that won't
work then you'll
have to pick
Between tiny steps,
but at least make
one
It's better than
rotting..better
than none
Step out-break
through-break free
today
Forget about your
fear or what others
say
Cause when tomorrow
comes and you're
still stuck
You can lie to
yourself and blame
it on luck
" Hero's die once,
cowards die daily"
Prepare for battle!
No evil fights
fairly!

About this poem:
Thinking about what sacrifices we might have to make to make real changes for ourselves. It doesn't always have to be extreme measures..but sometimes it does..

POSITIVITY #C

There's reason some writes touch on things dark
life doesn't equate to 'walk in the park'
Feeling our existence resembles a 'gift' insanity
exclusion of fairness a spiteful injustice to humanity

I feel pain enveloping those who suffer undeserving
societies indigents being treated as irrelevant unnerving
This despicable world mentally beats us down
some hover just above water rather than drown

Most disheartening knowing futures destined for worse
mans insatiable appetite for destruction they can't reverse
Majority believe in their gods others some devil
evils alive "god" quiet on every level

Arduous writing about 'positivity' when so little of it
that could reverse if laws had true grit
Again not a pessimist slowly turned into one
grateful if 'one' benefitted from write I done

Epitaph

I'm old enough to be your granddad, son,
Might even be your great-grandfather thus,
I'm in the night and
So a year will have swiftly passed;
… When both my flesh,
And bones have crumbled to dust,
When peaks of Caucasus
Like silver glisten and sparkle,
“Grandad, it’s dawning!” –
Don’t forget to call me down, son!

Nu’s Challenge...............

I am not really sure what’s happening here
But this sight seems so slow I am starting to fear
There once was a time when only a day would pass
And a posted poem would not see the day last
Now it seems they stay on here for too long
Days turn into weeks and it seems just wrong
I’d love to see some action again
So whip out your pen and scratch your brain
Now I don’t mean one writer to flog it hard
And post twenty poems all on one card
But let’s have etiquette and start some fun
A challenge I say is what needs to be done
So I propose to set the tone
Anyone can enter but best be alone
“ IF I COULD CHANGE ANYTHING WHAT WOULD IT BE“
And please respect others and what they see........
