'I..Sun'

I was created to
rule the day..

Do not look upon me
for I am fire..

Surely your flesh has
felt the warmth of my
soothing rays..

But many have mocked me
and suffered a burning
fate..

I relish to nurture the
tender plant..

The new born babe is kept
at a safe distance from me..

I give light over the face
of the whole world..

The lion sits upon the rock
proud in all his majesty and
I can change the colors in
his stately mane..

Can you stand toe to toe
with the lion?

Can you intimidate him as
you can a man?

Surely he will not flinch
at your rantings..for he
knows no fear..

If you cannot look upon me..
a burning fire..if you cannot
look into the face of the
mighty lion whose muscles are
wrapped like layers of steel..

How shall you look into the
face of the one who created us?

How shall you consider the one
who truly commands the day?

Turn away and kneel..for you
are mere flesh..

Put your hand on your mouth
and pray that you vain thoughts
have not be heard..

Pray that you will be shown
mercy from the one who is from
everlasting to everlasting..

The Almighty God!

The World is Turning

My thoughts are being
tossed by the gentle
winds of time..

'The world is turning
I thought..

I ponder four horses
grazing in a field..

Surely the horse is
a symbol for something
greater..

Then I thought..

Everthing is a symbol
for something else..

We dance on the fringes
of space and time as
living symbols of the
ultimate real..

But why must we think
in such terms?

The eye is not satisfied
with the mere fact of a
blue sky..we must seek
the ultimate blue sky
behind the veil..

Behind the impenetrable
veil we trust for the
meaning behind every
symbol

We are creatures of the
symbol..

Everything in terms of
something else..

And something else is
something else..

The world is turning,
but we can weary ourselves
trying to comprehend it..

So be it..

Whatever I discover..will
it not be the truth?

What is there to fear when
we finally discover the
truth?

Will we lose everything?

Will we gain an unimaginable
inheritance?

All symbols..

Still..I am what I am..and
you are that you are..

And we both know..that the
world is turning..~

WHITE PICKET FENCE

Just a small wee cottage for me please
With wind chimes blowing in a gentle breeze
Rainbows of roses climbing a white picket fence
For me a mansion doesn’t make sense

With gorgeous colorful flowers around
Birds singing a glorious sound
Butterflies kissing flowers with promises of love
Oh what a wondrous place it will be above

Garden paths of precious stones shining
Dripping rubies, emeralds and diamonds
Even the raindrops made of jewels
Glistening rainbows of magical pools

Sound of crystal water running cold
Moving in ribbons of blue, silver and gold
Beautiful green lawns and flowering trees
The most wondrous sight ever seen

No not a mansion for just me
I wish for a wee little cottage please

Tell thanks before going to bed

Embedded image from another site

Tell thanks before going to bed
For the fact that you have the house
For what is what to eat,
For that, is where to sit down.

For the fact that you have a friend
For the fact that your spouse is faithful
And if there are no friend, the husband,
Then, for the fact that you see light.

To see light, eyes are necessary
And hearing to hear voices,
Eyes on the place, are also hearing,
Tell thank you that I am not deaf.

Still thanks to two legs,
That go everywhere, here and there.
There are people that live without them.
Well the lucky you has become silent?

I will agree that there is a mess,
That in life a lot of things not so,
But nevertheless, you think, weigh,
Appreciate what is now and here!

And before going to bed
In the cozy bed,
You remember, my friend, about one -
Tell thanks before going to bed.

How many to me years

Embedded image from another site

If ask – how many to me years,
I am lost, I don't know the answer.
I look at blossoming of herbs a celebration,
As if I am four years old of all.

If the sun has stood in height –
Thirty years, consider, it was executed to me.
If I bury relatives – hundred years,
Though prepare a grave for me for dawn!

About love I compose verses when –
I as the girl then am young.
Eighteen to me! What to tell …
Wasn't tired I a droplet to live

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Cold happens not only from weather

Embedded image from another site

Cold happens not only from weather,
From snow, or a rain crude.
We freeze, living years,
Without understanding importance of simple.
Not in money joy, or in a rank of the power
They don't have business you are healthy or it is chilled.
Simple human happiness,
When there are those to whom you are very necessary.
Who waits for you home, and looks out of the window.
And without pretense by heart embraces.
It isn't terrible if in the house there is no bread,
It is more terrible when there is no love of heat.

SOMEONE TO SHARE...

Happiness through togetherness
Fulfillment in your life
Whether it be a companion
Best friend, husband or wife

Having someone special
To share triumph and downfall
Makes life worth living
And brings joy to all

No matter how hard it seems
Or how dark the skies become
There's always a bright spot
When you share it with someone

Being alone can be so hard to do
No one is there to tell your troubles to
You listen for answers but hear your own voice
But someone else's opinion would give you a choice

So when you find the answer
And accept it in your heart ?
You have made it through
The very hardest part

~FREE~

I am not defined by what others think of me
Not by my race, my face or what they think they see
There are no boundaries to what I can become
I am a musician, I beat my own drum

I am in charge of what I do in my life
When there is red tape, I am a knife
The will to succeed is not a strong wish
I will not drown because I am a fish

If things don’t go well, I don’t beat my knuckles raw
When a door closes, I am a saw
Not a queen, nor princess, nor Lady Godiva
But when I see a boulder, I’m a pile driver

So it doesn’t matter who’s in charge
When I want to achieve something I go large
I can become whatever I want to be
I am a human and I am FREE.

If I could change the world

If I could change the world there’d be peace and harmony
No one would be homeless. No one would be hungry
I would stop all the wars and bring our troops back in
The only reason to go overseas would be to give other’s life again

The children will be our future and there would be no hate
Love would flourish freely because we’ll all have faith
And no one from nowhere could tell us that we’re wrong
Because we will only hear a living song

If I could change the world there’d be no need for guns
For any animosity would vanish ‘cause peace has won
No one would go out stealing or killing to stay alive
For we would pool all our resources to help everyone survive

No race except being human would be on our minds
We’d focus on our planet and leave racism behind
The trees would be replanted. The food would begin to grow
Because chemicals won’t be around to poison the earth no more

Our children are our future. Don’t bring them up to hate
Teach them the values of life and all should participate
Don’t let our past mistakes be the burdens that they bare
Teach them to love honor respect and care

If I could change the world there’d be peace and harmony
Love would be as abundant as the sum of all the seas
With all of us working together all of this could be
And all nations around the world will be free
