Swami

You're in my arms

A pillow
Which children keep tight

Attentive to your face
Read traits
Lines, contours, depth

On the lips
In the eyes
Smile and sadness
Beginnings and Endings
Shallow and depths

Human nature

Images
Of childhood innocence
Or the rush of everyday life
Femininity that men
Are breathing

The body take steps towards you
Searches tenderness
Care

You
You shout from whole being
Looking union, to merge
Until the last pores
Of your profundity

Does the body,
Does the mind
Answer this call?
Do we have limits?

Beyond this physical limit
Is serenity
A depth peace
That feed our souls

Are people looking for this?

Twilight of Life

Lights going out in the morn
Are stars that never die.
They gather strength again to shine
Even brighter in the night.

This sequel of the day and night
Leaves twilight out of play.
When twilight falls we all just sigh:
Soon night will throw its veil.

The twilight seems of no import,
It’s life still waiting to unfold,
It’s neither start nor end, it’s road,
On what’s in store we have no hold.

It’s transient path of curves and stones
Obstructing view of what’s beyond.
Be what it may we still go on
With load of life companion sole.

This twilight song of woe, begone,
A trodden path of life's still visible to all!

About this poem:
Carrying on with life at whichever age. What's important is living a life, the freshness of air we breathe while still alive... Just the oldie one I decided to revive before it vanishes for good.

Glowing Courage

Take off your blindfold
Look what's right beside
Despair is such darkness
Absorbing all that we hide
Surrounds earthly realm
In shadows of night
Where fear never rests
When allowed to fright
Have around your head
Like a mighty halo
To drive away darkness
Courage's light will glow

A Hero (s/c)

Medals are for heroes
commendations for the brave,
courage and devotion
bravery, sacrifice,
flow in their veins.

We celebrate and honour
those who carry
such a life,
giving and unequalled
price often the life.

One man saw a need
stepped into the fray,
his life was exchanged
so we could slip away
he stood alone for us.

Blood was spilt
life was taken
we could escape.
Where is his medal ribbon
never had one

He died for people
to save them so....
Jesus was his name
a substitute who came

The Fix

People come, and people go,
Where they come from ? T'where they go ?
Pawns who all can play a part,
'Cause these pawns all have a heart.

Everybody has a history.
Everybody has a past.
But the thing that keeps us going
Is the hope that bad doesn't last.

It's the future that's important.
Today being the first day.
Try and make a good experience.
Make the most of it. But, fair play!

We are now, the present term.
And from this we have to learn.
Our children are the future,
Let us give them the best we can.

Drugs and drink and human traffic,
Mass displacements and the wars.
Terrorism, oil, the markets.
Has made man into a whore.

Please be happy, Please be kind.
Please be gentle , keep an open mind.
For of all this madness with us,
Can't be shut off with a blind.

We can still make all the difference,
If we care to do things right.
Fight the evil that surrounds us
Make tomorrow look all right.

Learn to release people,

Embedded image from another site
Learn to release people, –
Who has decided to leave you,
Who was in the list of your friends,
Who helped you with a way.

Who darling once was,
Or even I remained him.
Who so passionately loved you,
And now I became absolutely foreign.

And, doesn't mean that he bad,
Means, the ball is simply finished.
It is just like that solved by destiny
In this life of curve mirrors.

Release, let leaves afar,
Even if the melancholy is stronger.
Let the grief will release you, –
Learn to release people...

Heart Boxes

If I could open up your heart
as I open up a box
What would I see?
What would it be?

I'd approach it just the same.
Carrying hope, anticipation,
curiosity

What might be inside....
Hmm... endless possibilities.

So,
what did I see?
what did I find?

In this lovely corner,
what I found,

.....is kind.

About this poem:
I believe (to quote Cafe), "Kindness is the crown jewel of character".

This simplistic box of words is dedicated to all the conveyors/givers of kindness I've found here & elsewhere on the internet...

Thanks a million...

Uncomfortable Places

Beware of the excessive life
Leading over a cliff of doom
Living high in a king's place
Will eventually lead to gloom
Tear away from a cozy world
Stoking dopemine in a brain
Boredom of habituation whirl
The halls of comfort disdain
Folks of Sparta know the place
Be not fooled a promised life
Struggles you need to face
Comforts only leads to strife
Satisfaction is breaking routine
Seeking pleasure is in your head
Gratification will best sustain
All so good to trust instead
Being sessile leads to stress
Stop sitting you lazy drone
Sometimes good to feel duress
Stepping outside of your nest

About this poem:
Happier is the soul who struggles for a meaningful life...the body that craves exercise....and not one who clings to security of the same old....same old....step out there!! Turn off the TV and go for a long walk!! You will feel happier!!

FREEDOM

Freedom Slows down.. the beats of sorrow
Dawn on Earth immune the Space
Day dreaming loves the rhyme
As nights of mine go insane
And sound s of breezes are the blinks of your eyes
Like the morning light which strikes the Time
I need to recall, all my wasting time,to sing and unlock
my invisible life
My freedom is it on my way?
Is it real is it my Fate?
