The broken-off thread

Embedded image from another site

Time steadily passes the river,
on rifts thread often is torn.
Sometimes we remember, but we don't remember
about those who can't be forgotten in any way.

It is impossible to forget, and still we forget
we are looks, such family.
And meetings with them only in a dream happen,
and I weepingly peer into them.

Without remembering the evil, they on us don't grumble,
are always ready to forgive us for everything.
It is much simpler to act rashly knots,
what to connect the broken-off thread by.

What a pity that before seldom we communicated.
The course of time won't turn back.
So left: too early we have left,
here and questions there is nobody to ask.

Take Care Of Your Friends

Friend is a word that I don't throw around
Though it's used and abused, I still like the sound
I save it for folks who've done right by me
And I know I can count on, if ever need be.

Some of my friends drive big limousines
Own ranches and banks and visit with queens
And some of my friends are up to their neck
In overdue notes and can't write a check.

They're singers and ropers and writers of prose
And others, God help them, can't blow their own nose!
I guess being friends has nothing to do
With talent or money or knowing who's who.

It's a comfortable feeling when you don't have to care
About choosing your words or being quite fair
Because friends'll listen and just go on by
Those words you don't mean and not bat an eye

It makes a friend happy to see your success
They're proud of your good side and forgive all the rest
That isn't so easy, all of the time
Those times they get crazy and seem to go blind!

Your friend might have to just take you on home
Or remind you sometimes, that you're not alone
Or ever so gently pull you back to the ground
When you think you can fly with no one around.

A hug, or a shake, whichever seems right
Is the high point of giving, I'll tell you this night
All wordly riches and tributes of men
Can't hold a candle to the worth of a friend.

Poem Without Words

You can read it in the stars, in heaven's celestial light, When time churns under the Masters clock, and the spirit of life stirs within,With the quivering voice of the old man, and the cry of the new born, Come! Read the words of life and of death, May justice reign in the earth, Children playing in the sun give utterance to majestic phrase, when jewels of praise roll of their tongues, and glisten in the haze, When the winds of war blow turmoil upon the shores of a tranquill land, then will heaven's valiant march as lions, and the vanquished will be no more, Hear the words written on the heart that speak of better days, and the sublime peeks over the eternal horizon purifying the soul, Sleep on my children and I shall awake thee in white raiment, Golden crowns shall adorn thee, Oh, have you not heard my words, how the mute proclaim my counsel? In the night, I stole the wise mans pride, and he arose to hear loves song, Take wings now, and fly my child, for a mighty thing is coming...

If I

If I should die tomorrow
Weep tears of joy – not sorrow
For I will be with my Father above
Basking in his unconditional love

Walking the streets of silver and gold
I am no longer wrinkled and old
But moving easily and pain free
Do not worry about me

I am with loved ones who have gone before
Thus separated by death no more
It is so wonderful and beautiful here
You too will see it yourself my dear

We will see each other again
Live your life knowing that you too will ascend
Until then be happy and carefree
Your guardian angel is watching over thee

So much more........

Black dog knocking on my door
It just seems so hard to ignore
I wanna shed these fears on the floor
Change my life an be so much more
Kinda feel I've earnt the right
Never given up and stayed in the fight
Strayed in the dark but searched for the light
Lived for the day more than the night
So what's it take to break the mold
Release the binds that take hold
Feel the warmth to repel the cold
Break the barriers to be bold
Maybe an honest conversation or two
With those who really do know you
Even if it is their point of view
Can only possibly help your vision too
Loneliness is a path well worn
Doesn't mean it has to be forlorn
Inspiration can often be born
For those who wake to a darkened dawn.........

The Most High God

In your pleasure you
woke me from the dust
And for a moment I
breathed the breath
of life
Yet a whispering wind
chanted gently that my
days would be as the grass
But thoughts stirred in my
heart..that before I sleep
I might say..
Thank you for the gift
of life..
Thank you..to The Most
High God..~

LAUGHTER

One thing atop the list of essentials in life is unquestionably laughter
'a sense of humor' for many is preferred in a partner they're after
A witty personality has been part of me since I was just a boy
humor was conducive to me breaking away from completely coy

Evoking a smile is something I always accomplish without trying
inducing one to laugh so hysterically they cry is most satisfying
Robin Williams brought more faces joy than stars occupying sky
for some incessant joking is a coping mechanism needed to get by

Williams, Pryor, and Carlin were the epitome of funny and clever
The Big Three are "The Cream of the Crop" and will be forever
"Laughter" I've ascertained over the years has medicinal benefit
whatever fills you with elation for even a precious moment is legit

In my life 'laughter' has indubitably been my most significant need
without it 'existence' would be an even more unbearable one indeed

And you want, I to you will reveal a secret

Embedded image from another site

And you want, I to you will reveal a secret,
One such tiny secret.
Know, people don't happen,
Accidents, believe me, in life isn't present.
Don't you trust? Well, then though would listen.
Be not afraid, I won't deceive you.
Imagine that there are souls,
Adjusted on one string.
As stars in infinity of the Universe,
They wander in hundreds of roads,
To meet once by all means,
But only when God will want!
For them there are no norms in understanding,
They are free as soaring of birds,
For them there are no distances,
Conventions, bans and borders …
