Stitches of hope.........

Nine years old
With a burden to big to bare
A major operation
Four doctors would have to share
Seven hours of hope
Stitched in with care
A young girls dilemma
Unsure of the aware

A touch and go situation
Delicate and fine
Rearranging the the vertebrae
So they would align
No mistakes allowed
Or they would resign
To the young one's fate
And a crippled spine

The prognosis looks good
The tests have been done
Only room for improvement
For this tender young one
There's good feelings here
There's good feelings there
Highlighting the amazing skills
Of the people who care.......

I was tired to be strong

Embedded image from another site

I was tired to be strong, was tired to be wise
I was tired to save, win, survive …
There is a wish for eyes kind, hands there is a wish for darlings
And lips that could whisper about love …
In embraces to take cover, fall asleep, be dissolved …
The big shoulder will become a pillow let,
To have a good long talk as though to get drunk …
That all this was more and more

White tin sky

..it was the vision that beset him
of pure turquoise and sand
the scent of wildflowers along the bay
O! but what wretched destiny had bound him
to these rocks and crevices
to abide with the carrion and larch along the timberline

Yet the vision held
held in the crucible of his existence
And he prayed for merciful deliverance
deliverance under the white tin sky..

Heart of Gold

Hail to you, Sir Cafe, most gallant knight
Defending the castle Poetry Corner
Protecting all the maidens day and night
While all the other knights you inspire

With your poems you wove a magic spell
Oftentimes taking us on a journey
Captivating with wondrous tales you tell
Fascinating us with their imagery

Your replies to comments on your poetry
Were always warm, cheerful and refreshing
They showed your pleasant personality
For all of us they were most endearing

We thank you noble knight with heart of gold
And may heaven bless your beautiful soul

Just Being Me

Tearing off my fake skin.

only because i want be accepted by society again.

thinking that no one wanted me around anymore. So i ran as

i did before not really realizing the people i left that i adored

and i was often putting myself down and frown upon even mentaly Scourn.

most people never accepted me for me.but for what they wanted to see.

and i more so looked into negativity. I couldn't accept who i wanted to be

so i pretended to be something i wasnt 'but is that truely a crime.

wanting to just be like someone else at any giving time.

my sin that i committed that i only wanted to be cool like the rest.

but instead i played the part for the fool at best.

i wasn't judged by the color of my skin but i was misplaced

from deep within, but when indeed the facts are.

for some reason i just never quite fit in.

and i was told i had the best of both worlds being white and black.

and i didn't know how to really carry myself nor act. So i lived in shame

just because i wanted a little bit fame.So i should have been proud

of who i was as a person. but in actuality never had my own personality.

i just wanted to be heard. but in reality i was just a nerd.

I find myself once again for it wasn't acceptence from finding friends

or female companionship to share that love that was always there

but instead it was the Lord Jessus Christ my saviour that cared and at the age of 33

im truly free of my depression and i know i will never seek this

negative Obsession. people always ask me why do i look in my past.

its just because i didn't wanna give up. with out being given a second chance.

so im going to no longer hide and rip off my fake disguise stand up with alot of pride.

and im going to fight for what i beleave in my inner spritiual side

so thank you heavenly father for showering down with your beautful grace

for i'am truely blessed with your powerful embrace.

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

I trot along the yellow brick road
In search for something I need,
Passing the Lion, Tin Man, and the Scarecrow,
But not interest in any of these three.

I'm off to seek something bigger,
Something only the wizard can award.
It is not to take me to my empty home.
Something greater I have in store.

I have no need for bright red shoes
Or a dog named Toto; I already have three.
Or to be zapped back to my home on the hills,
Or a fairy, a witch, or a monkey.

A crystal ball would be nice to have,
But friends, I really have plenty.
I'm eager to pass through Munchkin Land
To grab a few lollipops for the journey.

I've come to ask the wizard
For something I can't ever do,
For something I prayed so long for;
Even my God hasn't pulled through.

I've seen this man grant many wishes.
When I was a young little girl
I thought it couldn't hurt none,
So I'm here to give it a whirl.

I am asking the wizard for a baby,
For I never could conceive.
Though I try so hard so many times,
I want this more than the air I breathe.

And once he grants me my wish
And places a seed inside my womb,
I will request that he fly me back
To a home with a nursery room

Where I can rock my baby in a chair
And sing lullabies to it all night long
And envision our life together
Inside our souvenir crystal ball

My home won't lack from silence.
My heart won't lack empty space.
My dreams will have come true.
I will be kissing my baby's face

our moments

flipping through the pages of times
filled in between our books
those unfaded moments
haunting me deep down

it is not by accident
that they break loose once in a while
breaking my heart over and over again
relentless and strong

But even then
smiles overcome my imaginings
thinking what would've been
if we held on to each other a little longer

but what is done is done
nothing can change the course
that marked our moments
cherised and tucked
here forever in my heart...

never to be forgotten.

The Stopover...........

Nestled almost hidden on a side street
Off the main drag in my adopted town
A coffee shop lay in wait for those unaware
Somehow to be found
For there is no glitz or glam attached
No bells or whistles too
Just a simple coffee shop
Where word of mouth is true
The ribs of an old building
Hold the roof up high
The counter way too simple
Exposing what to buy
Eight seats no more
I'd guess is what's inside
Then it's standing room only
Almost thigh to thigh
The locals are stamped on tabs
All across the wall
An easy reference point
For the owners to recall
The people are amazing
Always welcoming and nice
Their coffee is insane
Their Jewel to entice
Their customers come and go
As soon as the door's ajar
All people from all walks of life
From near and afar
Joggers , cyclists , walkers
Drifters and travellers too
Even the odd surfer
When their is no surf to do
Outside you can sit
And share the morning sun
A little patio area
Where breakfast can be fun
They have an avocado smash
Which is simply Devine
An awesome start to the day
It has an individual design
But it's the people and the service
That brings you back for more
The " Woodmans Axe " coffee shop
And it's incr..edible revolving door ......

From Glory to Glory

Man seeks a world that
will glorify himself

To seek the praise of
another is alien to
his nature

A religion that will
enthrone us

A personal wisdom,
beauty, and strength
is his entitlement

A politic, a country,
is his natural right

And, alas! He's blinded
by his own glorified
light~

UNIVERSAL FRIENDS

With a promise, comes a new day
Bursting with life, its new rays
Break through the sky, so bright
Wakes us gently, from dark to light

Seasons define, the speedy process
Winter, spring, summer autumn...guess
Depends on the sun, as it rises to shine
Settles in the sky, sending its sign

Lighting the heavens, day and night
Flooding with brightness, stirring sight
Coastal or rural, each scene depends
On changing cycles, universal friends.
