If I could open up your heart
as I open up a box
What would I see?
What would it be?
I'd approach it just the same.
Carrying hope, anticipation,
curiosity
What might be inside....
Hmm... endless possibilities.
So,
what did I see?

In this lovely corner,
what I found,
.....is kind.

As many life problems we all have; if we Free ourrself from the complexities and drama of our life,if we simplify, look within,lift our head up with eyes and heart open for kindness and freindly smile to share - we could find lot's of truly precious gift in every day present life.
Since recently my father died I have been feeling a bit down but I think,even though from time to time life may knock us down,I believe the grateful find reasons, if even small ones, to get up...with a grateful mindset to apprecite all people who makes differences in our dayle life and thank you for this reminder, greatly apprecited.

As I re-read the poem after posting, I realized the picture of the box was prob. clearer in my mind than how I wrote it.
To clarify, I was thinking of when a person receives a box/parcel in the mail or in person - how fun it is to wonder what it could be, and then finally you get to see...
and as evidenced by your comment, what I found was truly kind!

And as I'm so late in replying, I've written 5 since(3 of them in one day!- I've been trying to figure what's gotten into me- mind you, they're not the masterpieces I've found in the kind poets who've stopped by)
Guess part of it is... what I had found in this corner(kindness), has come back & given a repeat performance - allowing ones like me to have a place here, too!

I don't know about treasures... but if you think so, I'm thrilled - and I've always loved hearts, and love to receive a surprise in a box, thus heart boxes...
I just now realized something- (so I went and looked deeper in the box) - and I found even more kind and generosity and acceptance and beauty - because that box I discovered is as deep as the line of those who've stopped by and made this heartbox full to the brim.
Thank you for being part of the heart box...

W&R-(That's you, TRAVIS.... gotta CATch up anyway I can & using nicknames or initials helps... or it will...as I realize this explanation took waay more typing than typing your full name would have) Thank you for your visit... and awww... for combing the world. (BTW, I'm basically MIA so much, as the NHS took 2 yrs. of our lives & now trying to get back what they took away, but I've missed seeing you here & sorry the mail has often got deleted b/f I've made it back here).
