In 2007-8, DEMs saw the rising health care cost in the country. It scared the begivers from them. Healthcare to the DEMs is like the holy grail of issues. If the cost is beyond gov't control, then fewer low income (e.g DEM supporters could have it).
If the cost of American health care rose to being unmanageable....were they could not get their greedy little fingers into the pie so to speak. They were in big trouble. Unions would stop sending them big donation to run for office. They would lose votes because of it.
Hence the President begins his assault on the status quot health care system and the push for the ACA. Over 200 times in his campaigns, he spoke on it. His mother died because she did not have insurance to cover her cancer treatment. A lie.....but a good story. 100s cried when he told it over and over again.
DEMs have done exactly what they did not want to do. Increase the cost of health care insurance for the individual.
Here is elderly woman and is paying $276 monthly for a private policy. Sipo..Zapo...the ACA comes to town. Her low cost policy is cancelled. She is now looking at a ACA policy for $415 per month. Now she HAS to be on the gov't role to pay for health care. But how much of the increase will the gov't pick up? Your guess is as good as mine.
This entire idea, that the individual needs the state....that the DEMs are pushing here. The big guys in the DEM party don't care if this woman is paying much of her social security for health care insurance. They had to smooth out the ACA with the insurance companies to get it passed in 2009. All those backroom deal remember?
Would the insurances companies rather have a $276 or a $415 per month polices. You betcha, they want that big dollar premium policy. That is being forced by the punishment taxes of the ACA with the help of your friendly IRS. That was the deal when the ACA was wrote.
It simply did not matter that the little old lady was going to be paying more for health care in the future. A lot more.
It is also a way to do wealth redistribution in the country. See with medicare being stripped of %650b, the ACA could now supplement low income Americans with health care. It does not matter that those elderly medicare policy holders had paid all their lives into medicare and it was a promise of the government for them.
The Obama campaign had found a new voter supporter blocks for the DEM party.....and these low income supporters needed something for their votes. Hence supplemented health insurance from the ACA. I will not say the words 'buying votes' at this point. But if it fits......
Still the DEMs have not gotten to the heart of the medical cost crisis in America. Just raising premium rates is not going to put more money into the hospitals or medical research or new drugs. Here is where the real rising cost are.
The newly wealthy insurance companies are going to simply hoard the new premium income. Remember the banks during the bailout? What did they do with the bailout funds? They hoarded bailout funds because of the political insecurity in the country. Insurance firms will reinvest premium funds into the best investment the can find in the market place.
If you ever saw a animal in a wire snare trap.....that is where the DEMs are today regarding the ACA. It is not a pretty sight. They passed it, they wrote it. they signed it. They own it. President Obama owns it as well. DEMs are going to knawning off their limbs to escape what is coming regarding the ACA.
The 12 DEM senators and the 38 house DEMs are only the beginning of this DEM limb chew. You have the DEM State legislators and DEM governors that all supported the ACA as well.
When those little old ladies start to pound on the doors of Congress....State legislators and Mayor offices for relief from the ACA. DEM fur is going to fly.
Let me try to 'update' with the ACA happenings of the day.
First we have this article from the WSJ on the 12 DEM senators that voted for the ACA and now are doing their version of MJ's moon walk to get away from it. The number of DEM senator up for reelection in 2914 is 16. So 12 are feeling the ACA heat so to speak. To gain control of the Senate, the REP only need to gain one seat.
Now we have a major health care CEO...saying the the website rollout is only the 'tip if the iceberg'. As in the tip of the iceberg that sank the Titantic.
Bill George of Medontic is saying that the website will not be fixed by the end of the month. Also that there are some security holes in them. Consumer beware, every hacker on the planet is snooping into the ACA site for personal ID data.
Then we have my favorite of the day. The first dog was enrolled in the ACA in Colorado today. Hey if they can vote, why not let them have some health care at the expense of the tax payer.
Baxter the long shady hair friend of Shane Smith was enrolled in the ACA. Congrats go out Baxter for his new status of having his own OBamacare policy. All his warm nosed friends on the block will be jealous.
Now some would say.....this could cause the DEM and their avid followers some heart ache and even some indigestion. But no. Liberals see the entire thing being a problem for the REPs.

Now from what I am reading of the premiums prices of the ACA policies they are 40% to 60% higher than the commercial policies. So how this magic of accounting is being done, has yet to be explained to me. But here is the White House report. Ah the magic of numbers........
Jon Terbush says that Senator McConnel (R) has a Obamacare conundrum....I know...I like typing out the fancy words as well. Jon says that since KY, home state of the Majority Leader being one of the leader in ACA enrollees, will cause McConnel heart aches at the poles.
We have this piece from a DEM strategist on h ow the DEM can make the ACA into a REP night mare. Robert Creamer is saying basically that the Americans will love Obamacare and will simply hate REP for trying to take it away from them. A little simplistic on my part.....but I like to get the heart of the matter quickly.
Now that we are at October 17th......I am going to give my two cents to this to why this happened.
The Obamacare roll out.
The Administration was totally unsure how the American people were going to take the roll out of Obamacare. Would they go into the streets and riot? Would they follow the Tea party leaders in breaking down the governments? These were the unfounded fears of the present Obama administration.
All BS and fabricated for media and world speculation.
No riots occurred. Senator Crus shut down the government all by himself.
With Obamacare failing miserably on its own....conservatives and Tea Party people really did not not need to do much of anything. The roll out has been for 2 weeks. The enrollment numbers are so few...that the Administration will not tell us how many did enroll. But the best guess estimate....is a platry 7m did. In President Obama's home state of Illinois....7,000 enrolled in the first week. You can get more to a High School football game on Friday night!
Were are those 43m Americans without healthcare? What about all those condition to not getting health care? They should be jumping on this program! But.....with the Government's website shutting down down on a very regular basis....they cannot get enrolled. Now here is the secret.....the prices of the Obamacare health insurance are about 2 times the price of commercial health insurance prior to the ACA being enacted.
A Forbes article is saying that every time a person comes to the prices section of the site.....it fails. It crashes the entire site, hence the problems getting enrolled.
It is only beginning. Already my mother received a letter from her Doctor.....as of March of next year....he will not accept any form of Medicaide payment. It is just complex to process theu the government bureaucracy made by Obama care. Other Doctors are dropping out of practice completely....they simply don't want the headache of dealing with both the Federal government and State government to get paid.
Conservatives told the country and the world that this was going to happen.....back in 2009 during the health care debates. I posted it many times here in Connectingsingles......but ah no.....America has to be like Europe. Well it ain't kids. We have 312m people under one flag here.
Today with Obamacare rollout.....we see the worst in Big government. meddling into a doctor offices to make sure of treatments. Failing to keep a candidate promises made during a election. And worst of all....making a new way to scam the system. Political payment offs Preisdent Obama supporters....who are now 'navigators' into the complicated health care system. Paid by Federal grants of course!

Now if the Suez canal closes for any length of time...who benefits? The price of crude and fuel products will sky rocket with a Canal closure. So on my list of parties to benefit are.....Russia, a main exporter to Europe. Iran...still angered over the crude sanctions being placed on it for the nuclear programs. They are also high on my list for organizing and supporting the decayed situation in Egypt today.

I think that you are going to like this. Remember the ACA? Otherwise called Obamacare. 100% passed by the DEMs back in 2009? It is getting ready to be implemented for the first time in 2014....well kind of. Allot of Obama administrators are saying they need another 1 year to begin it.
One can under stand why. When.....
To file for Obamacare.....it take 61 pages of online filing. Over 1000 questions have to be answered. If done by paper....it is 21 page information package that has to be filled out and sent in.
So it pretty easy to see why the HHS administration is asking for more time to implement the ACA. The questions are rather detailed and may need research.
One need to remember that is 13,000 pages of legislation that drafted the ACA....those 13,000 pages gave the HHS a wide range of investigative abilities to determine if a person qualifies for the program.
How smart is it to tick off a country that can have stealth jets with nuclear and conventional smart bombs flying over your capital while you sleep? In my book of dumb plays.....that rates really high on the list.

I have seen the Soyus capsule up close at the Air and Space Museum in Washington. That was in the mid 90s. When I did, I knew why the US had won the cold war. Why? The US was far ahead in all the key technologies....communication, computers, advanced materials.

Un has not swung his other fingers around to target Australia or Europe so far. But give him time. He is a young man with plenty of ambitions and drive.....and a few nucs hanging around doing little. Un did trash a 50+ year old cease fire because 3000 American and 6000 South Korean got to together for a some war gaming. You know sleeping in out in the chilly Korea weather. It is like a big camp out with guns.
Un was quick to un limber the NKorea heavy artillery near the contested islands on the west side of the country. He was out pointing a stick to the south telling the local commanders and his troops....."mad dogs live across the border, you have my blessing to destroy them". They popped off a few rounds and made some holes in the water and big splashes. Maybe some waves that hit the contested islands.
Still Rodman says don't sweat Un and NKorea. They are pretty much harmless. Only Nkorea has one of the largest manned Armies in the world and now.....has ICBMs on mobile launchers. Yep like Russia, Un has placed his ICBMs on trailers and can cart them around with him. This does not phase Dennis. Everyone should have a trailered ICBM in his house.
Rodman tells us that Un and Nkorea is a big basketball country. That the Chicago Bulls are loved there. Funny I never thought Nkoreans, that don't have enough electricity to heat and light their homes would be big on the NBA or American Hoops. But Dennis was there, so he should know. Or maybe he just making that up, being a really big Obama fan from Chicago.
Well I would like to again thank European and Pacific Rim CSers for their continued concern over the developments in North Korea. If Un does decide to flame a US city or fire up President Obama....we will not have to apologize for defending ourselves to the world again. We can nuc the $%^&^$# out of North Korea.
Look forward people...look forward. In 2014....most of the US troops will be out. They are still deciding a what level of security forces to leave for....10....20.....30.....40 .....50+ years. NATO is still deciding the level of their forces to leave for 10.....20....30....40 .....50+ years.
So the one things we can be assured of....there will drones in the skies of Afghanistan and Pakistan....for the next 1/2 century.
That last little affair in Libya was because Europeans and the English needed to oust Kdaffi and get that light Libya crude to mix with their heavy weight North Sea crude. This is at the center of the ACA problem.In 2007-8, DEMs saw the rising health care cost in the country. It scared the begivers from them. Healthcare to the DEMs is like the holy grail of issues. If the cost is beyond gov't control, then fewer low income (e.g DEM supporters could have it).
If the cost of American health care rose to being unmanageable....were they could not get their greedy little fingers into the pie so to speak. They were in big trouble. Unions would stop sending them big donation to run for office. They would lose votes because of it.
Hence the President begins his assault on the status quot health care system and the push for the ACA. Over 200 times in his campaigns, he spoke on it. His mother died because she did not have insurance to cover her cancer treatment. A lie.....but a good story. 100s cried when he told it over and over again.
DEMs have done exactly what they did not want to do. Increase the cost of health care insurance for the individual.
Here is elderly woman and is paying $276 monthly for a private policy. Sipo..Zapo...the ACA comes to town. Her low cost policy is cancelled. She is now looking at a ACA policy for $415 per month. Now she HAS to be on the gov't role to pay for health care. But how much of the increase will the gov't pick up? Your guess is as good as mine.
This entire idea, that the individual needs the state....that the DEMs are pushing here. The big guys in the DEM party don't care if this woman is paying much of her social security for health care insurance. They had to smooth out the ACA with the insurance companies to get it passed in 2009. All those backroom deal remember?
Would the insurances companies rather have a $276 or a $415 per month polices. You betcha, they want that big dollar premium policy. That is being forced by the punishment taxes of the ACA with the help of your friendly IRS. That was the deal when the ACA was wrote.
It simply did not matter that the little old lady was going to be paying more for health care in the future. A lot more.
It is also a way to do wealth redistribution in the country. See with medicare being stripped of %650b, the ACA could now supplement low income Americans with health care. It does not matter that those elderly medicare policy holders had paid all their lives into medicare and it was a promise of the government for them.
The Obama campaign had found a new voter supporter blocks for the DEM party.....and these low income supporters needed something for their votes. Hence supplemented health insurance from the ACA. I will not say the words 'buying votes' at this point. But if it fits......
Still the DEMs have not gotten to the heart of the medical cost crisis in America. Just raising premium rates is not going to put more money into the hospitals or medical research or new drugs. Here is where the real rising cost are.
The newly wealthy insurance companies are going to simply hoard the new premium income. Remember the banks during the bailout? What did they do with the bailout funds? They hoarded bailout funds because of the political insecurity in the country. Insurance firms will reinvest premium funds into the best investment the can find in the market place.
If you ever saw a animal in a wire snare trap.....that is where the DEMs are today regarding the ACA. It is not a pretty sight. They passed it, they wrote it. they signed it. They own it. President Obama owns it as well. DEMs are going to knawning off their limbs to escape what is coming regarding the ACA.
The 12 DEM senators and the 38 house DEMs are only the beginning of this DEM limb chew. You have the DEM State legislators and DEM governors that all supported the ACA as well.
When those little old ladies start to pound on the doors of Congress....State legislators and Mayor offices for relief from the ACA. DEM fur is going to fly.
