Robbery

This morning at the Post Office while waiting in line to be helped 2 masked men entered and I could feel the tensions of the people rising with everyone on edge.
When the short guy yelled "This is a robbery, get down on the floor, NOW" We all relaxed.

Help!

Seeing that there are so many experts in all fields on the blogs , Im hoping for someone to solve a small problem for me.

The underwater helicopter has 2 urinals in the cockpit and the left one has sprung a leak at around 31 fathoms. I actually had Bill Gates' personal trainer , come down to 20 fathoms and see for herself what chaos it causes, but unfortunately she could not take the pressure and advised me - on Bill's recommendation - to ask for help/advice on Cs.

I want to thank all experts in advance as this is a terrible situation to be held captive in.

New Medicare Plan 'G'

The Government has announced that there is NO longer Nursing Home Care for the elderly.
South Africans being innovative as usual has come up with a Plan 'G'.

For a small fee, Plan 'G' provides anyone 70 or older with a gun and 4 bullets.
You will then be given plans on how to shoot 4 politicians of your choice
This means, of course, that you'll be sent to prison where you'll receive three meals a day,
a roof over your head, central heating & air conditioning, cable TV, library,
and 100% Health Care, dental and eyecare included.
Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart?
All covered.

As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now!

And, who will be paying for all of this?

The same government that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a home.

And... you can get rid of 4 useless politicians while you're at it.

And now, because you're a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income tax.

Is this a great country or what?

Eponym

There are so many of these words deriving from certain people and places one would think it takes up half the english language.

Examples.
Like calling someone a casanova – a man who preys on women or “promiscuous man,” actually comes from Giacomo Jacopo Girolamo Casanova de Seignalt (1725-98), an Italian adventurer who wrote a memoir in which he bragged about his lady conquests.

Chauvinism – The belief in the superiority of one’s own gender, group, or kind, comes from Nicholas Chauvin, soldier in Napoleon’s Army.

C-section (short for Caesarian Section) – medical procedure when a child is delivered by being cut from the mother’s womb. Word has it that Julius Caesar was so born.

Can Someone Find me with my IP Address?

When you connect to the internet through your Internet Service Provider(ISP) you are assigned an IP address. Your IP address is similar to your mailing address, but for your computer, on the internet. While this address is used to route internet traffic to your computer it does not reveal your location. If someone was able to get your IP address they could learn a bit about your internet service, such as which provider you use to connect to the internet, but they really can't locate you, your home, or your office. In some circumstances they may locate the city you are in, or perhaps a nearby city, but they will not have your physical address. Once they trace you back to your ISP they will lose your trail. While strangers may not be able to find you, your ISP knows where you are. ISPs will generally go to great lengths to protect you and your privacy but they do keep logs of your connections.
There is one big exception to being found. If you were to participate in illegal activities then a law enforcement agency can get a court order and submit it to your ISP to request your information. This is one way you can be found.

In the end, the simple answer is no. If someone was to get your IP address they can not find you. There are other ways you can be located but this isn't one of them. You're more likely to be tracked by posting your name and town online via social media than by your IP address

Slow Internet....

My service provider let me know that there are 2 cables giving problem and thats why the net will be extra slow until repaired.
Just wondering if anyone else was/is effected by these cable problems?
