Don't know why but,
here a Friday is easily identified even if one loses track of the days of the week. (it happens)
Living in the suburbs things are are extra noisy, there is more laughter, deliveries are done with spark, taxis are hell bent on giving all motorists extra PSTD (even the commuters
)
It seems that most folk in PE, old and young, just gain an extra bit of bounce and spark on a Friday.
How is Fridays in your area?
Enjoy your weekend where ever you may be
I'm not any great 'green fingers' gardener but since cannabis has been legalized here I thought I would try see how difficult it would cultivating this sought after herb.
Well now I know why they call it weed, it just grows and grows. Apart from deep watering once a week no special attention was given to these plants. I planted 20 seeds and in a few months one could clearly distinguish between the male and female. After uprooting all the males I had only 5 females which I thought would be insufficient for a decent harvest.
Big mistake.
The 5 females were over 3m tall and wow, did they have buds. So far I have harvested over 5kg. (trimmed, dried and cured)
Here are a few photos.
My Crop.
Before 'Trimming'
Huge.Buds
After 'Trimming' The bud on the right is known here as 'Durban Poison' a very potent strain. Only one out of the five plant was of that strain.
PS.
I don't smoke at all.
What does it take for a man to shoot his girl twice in her face?
54 years old, at that age he should know better...
"For some reason, he got out at the circle and walked out to her car, shot her twice, got back into his car and went around the circle and drove back out again,"
Police said that the woman was recovering in Fourways Life Hospital
"The person who did this then sped away in his motor vehicle and was cornered down Witkoppen Road in Fourways by the JMPD (Johanesburg Metro Police Department) and he then chose to take his own life by shooting himself."
These two were a couple, what was soooo drastically wrong that couldn't be fixed?
Life means nothing in this day and age.
Going Home I've Done My Time
Fantastic weekend to everyone.
I'm gone.....
Just a few years back, you would never have heard the term “drone” with a very positive connotation. Whenever there was any talk of drones, you thought of wars, attacks on terrorists, and spying of certain areas using pilot-less planes.
Live Events
One of the coolest uses of drones in recent years has been for the capturing of live events. Drones are being commonly used these days to capture addresses by politicians, concerts, and live sports events. They can provide a perspective to the audience that no other technology can provide.
Surveying Dangerous Areas
Drones have opened up such possibilities for humans that exploring the world’s deepest darkest corners has now become a much easier job.
Delivery of Small Items
Drones are being used by many big companies for the delivery of products to customers. Think about pizza chains sending pizzas to their customers using drones.
Law Enforcement
This is one of the best uses of drones, despite the many fears that people have associated with drones being used by the police.
Shooting Great Commercials and Movies
Most sci-fi and action movies require aerial shots.
Drones are used in situations where manned flight is considered too risky or difficult. They provide troops with a 24-hour "eye in the sky", seven days a week.
Sea Rescue,
The list goes on and on.
Today I heard a young man ask a wise old man "Sir, in which field would you suggest I make a great career?"
The wise old man answered with a smile "Be a good human being, there is a huge opportunity in that area with very little competition"
Just heard a few days ago that Hungary is encouraging young Hungarian families to have more kids (due to population decline) and with that comes some benefits for the mother as well. Benefits include a $36,000 loan which is cancelled after a certain period of time etc. I think after the fourth baby is born the remainder debt is cancelled....
I truly don't know if this is true but would like to find out if anyone on CS might confirm this
