Drones do a lot of other jobs, too, none of which have anything to do with hurting people. These non-lethal drones are on the cusp of transforming all sorts of industries and could revolutionize our economy and lifestyles in ways we could have only dreamed of just a few years ago.

Yes that incident was shown on our local news and had me wondering if the pilot of the drone just wanted to take a few pics of aircraft landing and taking off or something else in mind? Doing that puts many peoples lives in danger.
Spain is quite restrictive about flying areas but anyone who owned a place in the countryside and offered enthusiasts the chance to perfect their flying skills - it takes time and space! - would be extremely popular.
Yip you are right, quite pricy but those going for under 10k are in fact nice 'messing around' toys. I actually liked the one going for 95k but... too much.
