Some Awesome Ways Drones Are Being Used Today

Just a few years back, you would never have heard the term “drone” with a very positive connotation. Whenever there was any talk of drones, you thought of wars, attacks on terrorists, and spying of certain areas using pilot-less planes.

Live Events
One of the coolest uses of drones in recent years has been for the capturing of live events. Drones are being commonly used these days to capture addresses by politicians, concerts, and live sports events. They can provide a perspective to the audience that no other technology can provide.
Surveying Dangerous Areas
Drones have opened up such possibilities for humans that exploring the world’s deepest darkest corners has now become a much easier job.
Delivery of Small Items
Drones are being used by many big companies for the delivery of products to customers. Think about pizza chains sending pizzas to their customers using drones.
Law Enforcement
This is one of the best uses of drones, despite the many fears that people have associated with drones being used by the police.
Shooting Great Commercials and Movies
Most sci-fi and action movies require aerial shots.
Drones are used in situations where manned flight is considered too risky or difficult. They provide troops with a 24-hour "eye in the sky", seven days a week.
Sea Rescue,
The list goes on and on.

Sorry Luke lips
Wasn't shooting down your blog.
Just entertaining a thought.laugh
Hi Luke, Drones I want one. I remember in one of your previous blogs about Drones and rescuers at sea how amazing it was.

Now if I ever get one I'm going to use it to spy with. laugh

cheers my friend
These days virtually all tv series have aerial shots, what used to take days, bolting huge cameras under a helicopter etc, now takes a few minutes, everything has become so small, I had to laugh recently at a local event, we're used to the local TV station sending a cameraman, it was a huge thing resting on his shoulder, and he always looked relived to put it down, but at a reenactment they had an HD cam mounted on a tripod, still the same massive tripod they used for the old cameras but now the camera is so small you can barely see it.
Fors and against, recently airports have closed down because of drones.

What would happen if we totally rely on technology to do things.?

Maybe some good uses, rescue etc but we must watch how far we go with this technology peace

And here I was thinking what nice thoughts you kindle... evil, pure evilrolling on the floor laughing
Hi Wen,
handshake
Drones do a lot of other jobs, too, none of which have anything to do with hurting people. These non-lethal drones are on the cusp of transforming all sorts of industries and could revolutionize our economy and lifestyles in ways we could have only dreamed of just a few years ago.

Hope you are keeping well bro.cheers
Hi Z,
Went to have a look at a second hand one today, not fancy but has a good flight time, good camera etc. Just the price was ridiculous. R47k
Fantastic toy.handshake cheers
Hi, Red,
Yes that incident was shown on our local news and had me wondering if the pilot of the drone just wanted to take a few pics of aircraft landing and taking off or something else in mind? Doing that puts many peoples lives in danger. bouquet
Luke, that's a SCARY price you must be looking at quite high specs wow I know drones carrying small cameras can be bought on line for under, hmm, converting in my head, under R5000, certainly well under R10K

Spain is quite restrictive about flying areas but anyone who owned a place in the countryside and offered enthusiasts the chance to perfect their flying skills - it takes time and space! - would be extremely popular.
Hi Ele,
Yip you are right, quite pricy but those going for under 10k are in fact nice 'messing around' toys. I actually liked the one going for 95k but... too much.
High-performance motors paired with 17-inch propellers ensure stable flight in strong winds.
The new dual-battery power system automatically heats batteries when flying in sub-zero temperatures,
while an enclosed design ensures weather and water resistance, so you can fly in a wide range of environments.
